You know, I not quite sure. Some new members got ones quickly while it took some time for certain veteran members to get one.

^^^I thought that all games take up 3DS memory space, regardless of whether they are physical or virtual. I guess not. :) So is Super Mystery Dungeon as good as Explorers of Sky? I'm slightly annoyed that Skitty isn't available anymore as a hero Pokemon, so if I buy it, I guess I'll go for Pikachu and Riolu.

i'm pretty sure physical copies don't take up SD card space. and run directly from the cartridge. i haven't had a 3ds in almost 4 years though...usually, downloading to memory improves load times and other such things.

nintendo got along fine running games directly from the cart or disc for many years before this, much snappier and convenient. i don't like this new trend of having to download games to internal memory before playing regardless if you own a physical copy, though that may be because they've become so bloody huge recently...AAAs might be in the 25 gigabyte range on average. eventually you'll have to buy and configure an external HDD if you want to play more than, like, 10 games. not my idea of a good time.

i do appreciate nintendo's decision of using regular SDs for storage over the vita's proprietary BS though. if i get a 3ds again, i am getting a larger SD card first thing.

The more I feast my eyes on Skilpadde's posts, the more convinced I am that she's American. Her English is flawless.

I, for one, know my Webster almost from A to Z. So does Skilpadde, but unlike her, I have no sense of style. I find myself trying to force in Finnish and Swedish grammar with English words. Pardon me this, please.

Yeah, that's what I thought too, and it seems to be confirmed here https://www.reddit.com/r/3DS/comments/1 ... e_take_up/
Here's a list of how much space the games need:

Yes, indeed. Much better. I also miss just inserting a game into a console or Gameboy and start the game without having to go through menus. I'm looking at youse Wii, PS and PSP. Even the DS when you first start it up.

^Great! Now it's time to find a copy of New Leaf or Super Mystery Dungeon...or a Skitty doll...or a whole bunch of Clamp manga...There's too many things I want!

Haha, yeah I hear you there! There are so many books and DVDs I would get right away if I could afford them. And a few games.

It may not turn out this way of course, but Tyranitar Tube may just have leaked the new starters' final typings! (Key word being may).

I would love to see a new Water /Fighting type. I'm already Team Popplio, and I would be really thrilled it its secondary type was Fighting. There's only been Poliwrath before it (and Keldeo, but Keldeo wasn't included in the game).

There's even a Clamp manga sale on Amazon at the moment, but I don't want to spend anymore money for awhile. I'm unsuccessfully trying to save for retirement. I like Popolio. It sometimes seems like I'm the only one who does. I wish I could avoid negativity on the internet more easily.

well for the DS, if you have both a GBA and DS cart inserted, you kinda need to tell it which one to load.
but yeah, i miss the days of put in the game, and start playing. that's why all my systems minus the wii are old and lack mandatory menus.

^ Well, yes, but that was just a matter of clicking on the game. I wish it was possible to play GBA games on the 3Ds as well, as I have several old games left. Would be nice if Gameboy games could be played on the DS/ 3DS too.

Yes please! That would so neat! I'd also like to see an Arrakian sandworm in Pokemon! (And no, Diglett isn't it, it's only 0'08" or 0.2 m).

Isn't Inkay and its evolution Cthulu?

I wouldn't say that Inkay is Cthulu, but I agree that Malamar comes close. And the way it evolves... wow. how would anyone figure that out on their own??

It would also be nice with a snowman Pokemon. It could start as a cute little snowball, then evolve into a cute snowman, and its final evolution could be a Yeti (Abominable Snowman).

When I first saw Pokemon Pearl, my cousin was playing it. He faced off against a Snover. A year or more later, I caught a Snover just because I could.
I've been filling out my X Pokedex by using Wonder Trade. It's at 300+ so far. :)

Yeah, I know Snover is a snowman Pokemon, but I still wish they'd make one that looked more like your typical snowman in its second stage.
Heh, I remember the first time I saw Sneasel; I couldn't understand what it's typing was. I figured it was a bug or flying type

Hey, you've come a long way then. I only trade within my own games.
