Homines sounds more in line with the nomenclature used by biologists. Adamim has no historical basis.

Well, I was speaking of the biblical Adam. Being mythical, it serves no purpose as an eponym for humankind.

A servant would have marginally more individual rights, I guess. Only a bit.
