Oh! I see…

Granted. You go spelunking. The caves are beautiful and you are so taken by the formations of stalagmites and stalactites that you’re almost in trance. You pass silent bodies of dark water and colorful rocks. It’s so peaceful and serene in the caves you almost wish you could stay forever, or at least for a longer time. Unfortunately the cave you’re spelunking in will be destroyed in an earthquake soon, so unbeknownst to you, this is the last time you’ll ever see such beauty. No new cave can ever quite beat that first magical feeling.

I wish I could find a new species.

I've been in many beautiful caves! :D

Granted! You discover new species snakes, but one of them bites you. You die within seconds. No one knows about your discovery.

I wish I could go digging for diamonds, and actually find some.

Granted. You lose your engagement ring in the dirt, and you spend hours and hours and hours looking for it. But you find it in the end.

I wish I lived in a bright, multicoloured house.

Granted! Your house is bright and colorful, but a massive flood destroys your beloved house.

I wish I get an engagement ring!

Aww… That must’ve been exciting! I’ve only seen pics and vids but caves can sure look awesome…

Granted. You get one at a pawn shop.

I wish the daycare outside my home was gone!!

I grew up in an area of the U.S. that has a ton of caves and underground caverns.

Granted! The daycare has been replaced with sport arena.

I wish I didn't live near a school. I can only go 20mph on my street, and there are also cops around. Do you know how hard it is to only go 20mph?

Neat! I grew up in areas with mostly lots of buildings and roads, and some limited wooded areas

Granted. They make your street into a car-free zone though, so you have to park far away from home.

I wish there were no children or teenagers or noisy adults in my area.

The big city, huh? My hometown isn't tiny, but it's definitely not a big city either (It's like 200,000ish people). Lots of wooded areas and nature all around!

Granted! There are no noisy people at all, but your neighbors have a pet donkey that brays all the time.

I wish to not park far away from my home.

As big as it gets here (ca 600 000 people). There are lawns and limited sized wooded areas here, but they are far between and we certainly don’t have caves here. There is a small lake and several tarns some kilometers away though, as well as larger woods. Considering how close we are to all conveniences here, it’s not so bad at all. I couldn’t take living in a small place anyway. I need the anonymity of the city! Sadly though, increasing population means that more green areas here are used for residential areas. It’s not like we can really afford losing them IMO.
Haha, donkeys are cute! I’ll take braying over daycare or sports arena any day!

Granted. You find a way to park closer to home, but your car gets trashed by influenced teens.

I wish there were fewer residences where I live, and that no new ones were built. .

Granted. You don't have to park at all anymore but take the bus, as a teenager took your car for a joyride and crashed it into a tree.

I wish I could return to my school days and have another go, knowing what I all know now.

Granted! There are fewer residences and no new new ones being built where you live because you live way out in the boonies.

I wish to never have my car or property or possessions vandalized by anyone.

Granted. But you’re carjacked. No worries though, they will not vandalize your car in any way.

I wish to never live way out in the sticks!

@envirozentinel
Granted! But you are forever stuck in school for the rest of your life, and you can never leave.

@Skilpadde
Granted! You live in a place overrun with people. No sense of privacy whatsoever.

I wish that a certain unmentionable person didn't keep waking up every 2 hours in the middle of the night to ask me questions.

Granted. Now they stay up all night and ask you an endless series of questions.

I wish my neighbor would stop drilling.

I wish for coke right now.

Granted. It’s been shook real well though, so have fun showering in it.

Don’t give them any ideas, they’re “always” doing stuff like that. I wish that family would move today., all five noisy loud individuals.
