The last words of Nostradamus, the famous French doctor known for his collection of published prophecies, were a final prediction that proved correct: “You will not find me alive at sunrise.”

Mark Twain said he came into the world with Haley's Comet and would go out of the world with it as well. This proved correct, as he lived 76 years and his birth year and year of death corresponded with the entrance of Haley's Comet.

A household hint:
Not all plungers are made for toilets. The basic ‘cup plunger’ needs a flat surface to create suction and works best for unclogging sink and bathtub drains- but if your toilet is clogged, a 'flange plunger’ is best because of the extra piece at the bottom (the flange) that’s designed to fit inside the curved drain of a toilet bowl.

Sharks have to keep swimming constantly, or they'll sink.

"Fish detectors" can't "detect" sharks.

Fish detector devices detect the vibrations of a fish's swim blatter ( a little balloon like bag of air that the fish uses to regulate it's bouyancy. The organ is the evolutionary ancestor of our lungs).

Since sharks have no swim blatters they are invisible to fish detectors.

Yes only ray finned bony fishes (tuna, trout) have swim bladders.

Sharks are a different class of fish, and dont have bones either.

‘Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star,’ 'Baa, Baa, Black Sheep,’ and the 'Alphabet Song’ all have the same melody. They’re based on the French children’s song 'Ah! vous dirai-je, maman,’ which was anonymously written in the 18th century and made popular by Mozart when he composed 12 variations of it at the age of 25.

The Austrian national anthem, and "Deutschland Uber Alles", both have the same melody. It was from a composition by Haydn (pronounced "hide in") who was late 18th Century contemporary of Mozart.

There’s a time capsule in Georgia that’s preserving our culture for any ‘future inhabitants or visitors to our planet.’ The Crypt of Civilization was sealed in 1940 and contains the contents of a woman’s purse, a radio, Lincoln Logs, a Donald Duck toy, over 800 literary works, and voice recordings of Hitler, Stalin, FDR, and a champion hog caller. It’s not to be opened until the year 8113.

The chamber resembles a cell of an Egyptian pyramid with artifacts positioned on shelves and the floor. Anyone who opens the crypt will be addressed with a note that says: “The world is engaged in burying our civilization forever, and here in this crypt we leave it to you.”

Metroids, the titular life draining jellyfish like creatures from the video game series Metroid, made a cameo appearance in the Kid Icarus: Uprising game.
