I wish poverty didn't exist.

Granted. No one is poor anymore, but greed becomes such a problems that wars break out in every sector of modern life and people have to live in secure enclaves.

I've never had to physically leave anyone behind, but I do know the feeling of losing contact with people one cares about. It's almost as bad as more permanent losses.
