You're welcome! Have you seen the new trailer with the new Pokemon? I'm not sure what to think about them, but inevitably I'll do what I'll always do when a new generation comes out: I totally ignore the ones I dislike, and go into cuteness or awesomeness overload over the ones I like a lot!

I've finally seen it!
I think Tapu Koko has a cool dual type; fairy and electric. I have to confess that I was a little disappointed when I saw Grubbin evolve into Charjabug, seeing as it was already so much alike Dwebble so for it to evolve into a Crustle look alike… But then I noticed that Charjabug is bug and electric. We haven’t had too many of those, so that got me hyped again To say nothing of Vikavolt! Drampa really surprised me with its Dragon/normal type. It’s incredible that they chose to pair dragon with normal. I was glad to see a new water/psychic introduced, in Bruxish. I’ve been wanting one! Cutiefly is cute! And I really like the bug/fairy type it has gotten. I hope it’s strong (most bugs aren’t). I think Togedemaru is awfully similar to Pikachu, Dedenne and Marill, but I like that it’s steel/ electric. I cannot believe that Iwanko is a rock type!! Remember when we talked about new eeveelutions and you said you didn’t see Eevee evolve into a rock type? I never thought we’d see a Pokemon like Iwanko be rock. It looks like it’s made to be normal.
I like that they don’t just do what we expect!
I came across this looong video today.
I sure hope this isn’t the end of Pokemon! I've had that fear ever since I heard the line "it all comes together" for the first time. I've been a fan since Pokemon Blue version, and I'm as hooked now as I was then. I don't want this franchise to end!
If the franchise is rebooted, then I hope they won't change the turn-based battles in Pokemon. When I was younger I used to dislike turn based battles, as it meant you had to take at least some damage and healing was usually far away or way expensive (I'm generally speaking, not referring specifically to Pokemon), but as I'm getting older, I find that non-turn based games are exhausting, which make them turn offs. So these days I prefer turn based games and universes where healing isn't too hard. I like the idea he mentions of picking a start city and have specific starter for that city. I do not personally want the world to be too free to explore as it would make it hard to know where to start and what I should do, but I would like more side quests and also something like New game Plus after the main campaign. I would also like to see either 6 move slots or the ability to have say 8 Pokemon in your party. I would love to see a Fantasy Life version of Pokemon, where you can have different lives/professions/skills. and go from one to another as you wish and work your way up.

Right you are. Our funny language has mamma for grandmother and pappa for grandfather. I don't know why it is that way.
According to Google Translate, the Finnish names for mom and dad are Äiti and isä, while "bestemor" apparently is isoäiti and "bestefar" isoisä. yet for some reason 'bestemor og bestefar' was translated as mummo ja vaari. Go figure!
There are numerous variants of mummo/pappa but only few of äiti/isä. It really is strange that our words for mother and father don't resemble the corresponding words of any other language. Finnish is irrational.

My summer has been very good so far. My birthday was great and I was even as hyper as a kid! (So now my profile and real age are finally matching). As mentioned it has been cooler than normal, which I really like. We have seen no more than one fly inside so far which makes me happy since I really hate flies. We are spending the evenings watching something nice, which I like, and I got some games I can play solitaire (Dungeon Roll, Sylvion and Castle Panic) as well as a bunch of books, so I am thoroughly enjoying myself. My summer will be even better starting Thursday, when my father goes to visit family up north. We always have such a nice time alone and the atmosphere is different and we won't see any more spills on the table that won't get cleaned up (pig!) for a while. When we're alone we always make sure to play some games from time to time as we're both very much into somewhat light games. We can even leave the games out in the open without them getting stained! (yes, that's a theme I can be clumsy and I have accidents, but I try to be careful around valuable things, and if I spill, I clean it up. Is it that hard?) /end mini rant.
But yeah, summer has been great and will be improving even more. I am feeling so good and very happy these days
How are the rest of you doing?

My summer's going great so far. I'm working on my latest book, and it's getting weirder and weirder and sort of jumps around and meanders [just like me!]

^Book with a turtle? There's no turtles so far, but for all I know the Bookstore is balanced on the top of a turtle's shell...oh, wait, that's Discworld. Never mind!

You mentioned a while ago that you were to write a story and in that story there would be a turtle (a river turtle IIRC). I tried to search for it, but all I got as search result was my own signature.

Sorry for double posting, but I'm just so excited about the newest Pokemon news [especially the Ghost/Fairy Pikachu-mimicking one].
