I think it hardly ever makes the wearer look more attractive. The opposite, mostly.

I haven't seen one in ages. I got my dad's college stereo system when I was a kid and he bought a nice component system. It had an 8-track, but it was nearly obsolete even at that time. I had fun making recordings with my friends.

Most people here have citrus in their backyards, at the old house I could pick them and though they didn't have much smell like the ones at the store the fruit tasted really sweet because they didn't go through the chemical injections that big fruit companies use to make the fruit have a fake fragrant smell, sour taste and distinctive color.

I attack them with a shovel, orange oil, and diatomaceous earth. They're only strong when they attack, so I take the initiative.

I don't have an irrational fear of them, but there are enough dangerous snakes around here that I look out for them. I found a baby copperhead dying in the road when I was a kid, and I stepped within a few inches of a diamondback rattlesnake one cold morning. It didn't move at all, and wandered off as soon as it warmed up.

My landlord has a community garden where all the tenants are encouraged to participate. There are peas, potatoes, cucumbers, and other veg & fruit.

I choose the actor. I observe NT's. I listen to their socializing. I practice it, so in social situations I can just emulate/mimic what is expected.
It isn't natural for me, but it enables me to "fit in".
It is VERY tiring and draining, but at least we can appear like them even though it is an act. Like being on the stage.
They can't see it is emulation, and so we are accepted.

I watch a lot of anime, so I know about Altair and Vega as Hikiboshi and Orihime from Tanabata.

I don't know anything about "orange trees"----except that an orange tree grove smells really good.

I used to work at a cavern. Sometimes I gave tours, sometimes I did manual labor around the grounds, and sometimes I worked in the gift shop, which had a lot of cheesy old stuff from prior decades to dust off, including snow globes.
