Isn't that a little excessive?

*launches an assault on a world of sadistic alien freaks*

30 Frigates, 20 Destroyers, 5 Cruisers, 2 Battlecruisers, it's going to be a heck of a party. An army of 100,000 marines, as well, plus of course all the other craft. Many of the marines travel in cryogenic stasis to maximise capacity.

It is a bit....excessive. But Imperial Guardsmen aren't very good when it comes to survivability. :) And besides. For every one that dies, there's like a millions of people to take his place.
