On a completely different note, the music video for "Gangnam Style" has just reached a record 2 billion views on YouTube.

I swear 1 billion of those views were yours.

I assure you Murihiku i've never, ever seen any Gangnam Style videos. Not even once. But with 2 billion views, perhaps i'm missing out on something.

Anyway, i watched it. It didn't rock my world (although the main guy does seem a bit of a character).

There is a certain subset of all music videos which I have watched once for sheer curiosity. Once. Gangnam Style belongs to this subset, as does Nyan Cat, as does the one sample of Justin Bieber's repertoire. Remember the number of times I have watched them. Once.

This is nobody's fault in particular. Just incredibly bad music.

I'm glad to say i've never had curiosity allow me to watch Justin Bieber, ever. I've never heard of Nyan Cat either. I do keep hearing about some band called One Direction, since they're coming to my country for a tour and people are going crazy about it. It's your fault I can't totally escape from this madness.

Wish I could say the same. My sister's kids introduced me to both Justin Bieber and One Direction. The people going crazy are most likely teenagers and really young adults. I must admit, I checked the Top 40 music charts recently, and most of the bands and singers I didn't even know. So this is what it feels like to be "older" ... your fault.
