I loved the sea turtles in Finding Nemo! They were so cool. I haven't seen the sequel yet.

You haven't? It's terrific! The sea turtles make a brief appearance in the beginning.

They do? :D I'm looking forward to seeing them again, and seeing the movie.

I just came across episode 1 of the Sun and Moon cartoon on YouTube, and I gotta say: What the bleep happened to Ash's appearance?? I did not like what I saw. It was so different from how he used to look that it was off putting.

I've watched two episodes of the game now. I was surprised to see how long it took the character to even get his starter. It was like 20 minutes into the video! Glad I am now prepared for that, or I would get pretty impatient lol.
From the little I have seen, this game seems to be awfully focusing on people. Rituals here and cut scenes there, after just watching ca an hour, I already long for going on an adventure with my Pokemon. I hope it will go more old style soon, with the character and his Pokemon exploring and developing a team.
Also, while I'm complaining: Hau's laidbackness is as annoying as the hyper rival in Sinnoh was. I don't care for all the "oh yeah" and "woo" uttered by Kukui and that other guy whose name escapes me atm.

OTOH I found it charming how you clean, pat and feed your Pokemon after battle! It's no goood that apparently the mini games are gone though. I liked playing those.

^^^I actually found the minigames a bit tedious...though then again I often got 999 on the Yarn Ball game. 8) :D I was terrible at the sliding puzzle game, though.

hmmm, despite not liking jigsaw puzzles, I actually found the sliding puzzle relaxing and nice. I liked the berry picking too. I didn't do too well with the yarn game, I missed the timing too often. Congrats on your good result with Yarn Ball! :wtg:

How are you liking Sun and Moon so far?

The berry one was cute. I can just imagine my Pokemon dive bombing into the humongous berry pile afterwards.
I don't have Moon yet, but I'm hoping to get it eventually. I can't choose which starter I want, anyway.

Haha, yeah the image of the Pokemon throwing themselves over the berry pile is too cute! :D
Anyway, I'm glad they've kept a bit of the Tamagotchi style they introduced in X and Y.

Oh, you don't have it yet? Then I'm sorry I said so much about it in my post above! I didn't mean to spoil anything for you!

So you've decided on Moon then? That's my number one choice too. As for starters, I fell for Popplio the moment I saw it. Gotta say though that now that I know that not only is Rowlet cute but it'll even turn into a ghost in its final evolution, I really want that one too

I used to have four Tamagotchi. I really liked playing with them, since I wanted [and still do] a pet of my own.
No, it's alright; I don't mind spoilers.
Except I so want an Alolan Ninetales! :x Hopefully the GTS can help with that.
I'm torn between Rowlett's evolution and Popplio's evolution. [I wish Litten evolved into something else...]

Wow, learning about the first 3 generations of Pokemon was hard enough, how do they expect everyone to keep up with so many? Or choose which one?

I've never found it particularly hard to get to know the new generations myself. Picking my team though!! Those are really hard choices, there are so many I want on my team, and so few trainers to fight so my monsters gain EXP. They gain so little fighting wild Pokemon compared with fighting trainer battles. I wish there were ways to battle the same trainers over and over so I could realistically train more Pokemon.
