Dug up one of my long-time favorite bands, Seru Giran. Charly García, Pedro Aznar, David Lebón, Oscar Moro. I cannot for the life of me remember what brought it on ... oh, I guess I had the iPod on shuffle in the car and some one of their songs must have come on. Anyway I'm groovin' Image

Charly García would be God if he weren't such a strung-out drug addict (he checks himself into detox every year for his birthday!). The man is brilliant, though, seriously gifted. I love Pedro Aznar, too, some of his songs are awesome. But Charly -- Charly's in a class all by himself.

Officially it's only 85.2F right now, but the "heat index" is 105F. That's with 96% humidity.
