ugh yeah, over spending is far too easy... My budget is never the size it should be!
I think I'll skip the RPG maker myself, there are other games that tempt more, like Ultra Sun & Moon, Harvest Moon Trio of towns, and maybe Monster Hunter Stories (haven't decided about that one yet, the others in the series didn't appeal, but this one looks more like my style).

This is my favorite wolf video featuring my favorite wolves. 0: 56 - 03: 32. I recommend clicking the YouTube button and play it off at lower speed to catch all the interaction between these two wolves. The wolf on the left is a Rocky Mountain grey wolf named Denali. The wolf on the right is a Great Plains grey wolf named Boltz. At the time of the video they were 7 and 3 years old respectively.
They are just so sweet here, with Denali grooming Boltz, and Boltz enjoying it and wanting more.

I love the video, Krabo, but wolf howls aren't scary at all. Howling is beautiful :) (and often sad sounding)

The night before we were to move to the house we live in now, I howled on the back deck, and several of the wolves/coyotes in the bush answered me [after awhile].

Wolf pups are cute

Krabo, if you're getting Enviro a wolf, maybe you could send one in my direction too?

Recently I rewatched a movie called Ulvesommer. It's basically a family movie about a girl who end up saving a wolf and her pup from hunters. When they made that movie, the director made it clear that he wanted a movie with real wolves. He was told using real wolves was way too dangerous and that he had to use wolf like dogs or wolf dogs. But he insisted that he wanted real wolves. He had to shoot the movie in Montana to make that work. And it went beautifully! (And I might add that the wolves are great actors!)
I like that he was adamant that only real wolves would be good enough. I am so fed up with hearing about the big bad wolf!
Obviously you need to use your head around wolves (as you should around any type of animals) but wolves have an undeserved bad reputation.
It's a nice movie with beautiful wolves.

That sounds like a great movie to watch. It may be available for download online?

I'm glad the director got what he wanted even if the cast had to go all the way to Montana.

I actually learned something new about turtles today! :D

Months ago ... Skilpadde wrote:
As some of you might know, my country has had a law since 1976 that I hate with a vengeance. It's the law that has made it forbidden to keep turtles and other reptiles as pets. There has been talk about removing or softening the law for ages, but nothing has ever happened. It was meant to protect animals but failed completely as people keeps them regardless and it just leads to smuggling and no vet care for sick animals since people know the animals could be put down. Needless to say, I really hate that law.

Last week there were some really good news: On Aug 15th the law will be softened. It's still very restrictive compared to other countries, but 19 species will be allowed; 9 snakes, 7 lizards and 3 turtles.

The 3 turtles are:

Greek tortoise

Redfooted wood tortoise

Chinese three-keeled pond turtle

Obviously, I want one!

I haven't made an absolute decision, but on e of the three species are more likely than the other two, mostly due to being easier to feed. I can hardly think of anything else now. I just think of the turtle I'll one day have and how good it will be to have a turtle again and what I'm gonna name it. I'm very excited!

So ...

Have you gotten a pet turtle yet, Skilpadde?
