You should be honoured Riikka, I have never been quoted in Krabo's signature. I'm tempted to go off and sulk now.
From your list of books, I've read about half of them. I forgot to mention that I like a lot of classics too. I'm especially fond of Jane Austin. I will have to check out some of the other ones I haven't tried from the library.
I will go through your list of singers later today.
Yes, pole is demanding. After the first class I could hardly move for two days. I'm getting more used to it now, but I still learn tricks from the ground. I also know my limitations, I don't think I'll ever be able to do the tricks where they drop down the pole from a great height, and then stop. One distracted moment and I would be in a heap on the floor. I'm regularly covered in bruises though. Yielding human body v metal pole means that pole wins most of the time. If you ever get the chance you should give it a try though - it's seriously addictive!
Sylkat - I love Terry Pratchett. I remember when I was a poor teenager and I used to fare-dodge on the trains. One time I had my headphones on listening to music, and when the ticket collector came round I had my nose in a book, pretending I had been there all along. One time I was reading Terry Pratchett, and I kept laughing hysterically at the funny bits. I remember one commuter looking at me as though I was quite mad, but he looked a bit jealous that I was getting away with it, and having fun.
