No, I'm not kidding. Selfie is a word, according Gorgle Chrame (deliberately misspelled so you can see for yourself. And no, I don't think you type weirdly, unless you count the lack of capitalizing, which is lazy, not weird. My Chrome is set to Am English. Word OTOH doesn't recognize it, but that's Word 2007, which might explain it. And yeah, Chrome fails to recognize a lot of words :roll:

So do I, despite the fact that we use the word film in Norwegian. I don't get a red squiggly line for movie though... That's strange.

it has to accept movie. it has to. that would be too ridiculous otherwise, a new low. an unforgivable blunder.
