"I saw the crystal fragments get collected on the other side of the portal because light can pass through it too, and I was just wondering if it were possible to look up information about this Earth on something equivalent to what is known as the internet on the Earth that I'm from."

"Ah OK, then that means you can still contact the station, that Q didn't stop you, and you have a portable wormhole. Is your wormhole actually stable?" Guinan wants to know.

Mike looks at some information displayed on the containment device "Yeah, it's still quite stable. Should it not be?"

"That's quite a feat of engineering to actually create a stable wormhole. It's amazing that you can just use the wormhole whenever you want, knowing you'll reach the same place every time. Not to mention having a wormhole in your pocket," Guinan is clearly impressed.

"It looks more impressive then it really is from this side of the wormhole, or less impressive depending on how you look at it. On the other side there is a large rotating circular station orbiting Jupiter with a diameter of roughly 2 kilometers, most of it's mass is in 4 thunderbolt reactors powering the place and it's circumference consists of the accelerator tunnel for the breach device, the wormhole chambers, and a bunch of labs. It can reopen the wormhole to the same place every time because it actually never closes, it just shrinks." Mike explains, rather excitedly. "War really has a way of advancing technology, and The Great Solar War caused the majority of the resources on Earth to be dedicated to space travel. Fortunately the war has been simmering down in the last few years, although I suspect that might change if we can figure out how to make safe and reliable warp drives that don't rip the ship apart."

By the way, I do plan on adding some challenges for Mike in the near future relating to the wormhole station and I may introduce an antagonist character too. The Nexus wormhole station is a prestigious scientific outpost and there is a war going on, so I'll let you guess what I have in mind.

"Where I'm from, they don't create stable wormholes as your people have done," Guinan says matter-of-factly. "You have some very talented scientists and engineers, so I think they'll find their own way to warp travel," she adds, looking up at the sky for a moment and then around the yard.

Lilli was listening intently. They weren't 100% sure of what was being talked about, but they were rather curious to hear about Mike's land. As the conversation went on, though, they began to have more and more questions regarding Guinan.

She's like-- what, twelve?-- and here she is having this fluent conversation about wormholes with Mike?
Where the heck was she from?
I mean, they got that she's from another place, but how techy is it that they can just casually talk about space travel?

Lilli couldn't contain their patience any longer. They looked at Guinan quizzically.
"Uh, sorry to interrupt, but.. where are you from?"

"I'm from a planet very far away from here," Guinan says to Lily. She looks down at herself, adding, "I'm also not who I appear to be. I'm much older, for one thing."

"That explains a lot, you definitely seem to know a lot more then the average 12 year old." Mike says to Guinan. "Didn't you say you were on a star ship before coming here? The Enterprise of I recall. What is it like?"

"It's a ship of exploration, also part of an alliance," Guinan says after a moment's consideration. "We have over two hundred people on board, and many of us aren't from Earth. We do use some wormholes as centers for trade, and we use subspace communication."

Lilli was confused but fascinated.
"Subspace?"

Gu:nan nods to Lily. "Yes, we can talk or send information to other ships or planets that are far away. Are you from here, Lily?"

Lilli laughed. "No, I'm from a place called Earth-- which is rather.. low-tech. I don't actually look like this."

They pulled out their phone and brought up a picture. "This is what I look like.

...I don't know how or why I got here, but I think it has something to do with this book."

They pulled up a picture of the book and showed it to Guinan. The book itself looked quite old, but the pages were surprisingly untouched.
It was opened to a page titled "Alternate Dimensions" and underneath was some illegible text and diagrams.

"We all seem to be from Earth from what I gather, just different Earths making 4 in total if I'm not mistaken."

Mike pulls up the two images that Lilli showed on his arm computer.

Mike: "Nice work Sam. How did you get these?"
Sam: "Lilli's phone is only encrypted with a 32 digit cypher and the encryption algorithm was pretty basic, it was actually very easy to hack."
Mike: "Oh. In that case, you need a better encryption algorithm Lilli. Oh, and what's up with the ears and tail?"

I've been wanting to draw an anime version of Mike for a while, I'll get around to that soon.

(OOC: I'm a blind person. Would you describe what Lily's animal form looks like? BTW I tried a couple of times to find Guinan's description so I could write a bit about her physical appearance when I brought her into the game. I couldn't find one. I can tell you that Whoopi Goldberg played her character as an adult, and I heard they've got the purple costume for her, but I don't know how alien they made her look. If she really looks unusual, then I guess Q changed that too LOL.)

She smiles at Lily's picture, then tries to touch the phone to see how it works. "I'm not originally from Earth, but the Enterprise is part of an Earth-based alliance," she says. Looking at the book, she adds, "I don't recognize any of this. What is it?"

The image of Lilli looks like a human female somewhere in her teens but with black and white animal ears and a long fluffy tail which is white with black stripes going around it almost like that of a racoon. She is wearing black gloves, black socks, a black tank top, and orange capri pants.

Guinan has dark colored skin and usually wears a robe and a very strange looking hat that I'm not sure how to describe. The robe and the hat are a single color, which is usually purple, yellow, or red. She also has black curly hair which goes down to just below the shoulders.
