My husband and I both love that song. He used to read to me while I cooked dinner each evening. (These days he usually just chats with me while I cook.) It was the first song that occurred to me when I saw the lyrics to your song.

It's weird how many favourite songs we share! And I've always loved that Gordon Lightfoot song, too! It's another one of my frequent earworms.

Read My Mind is a really emotional song for me and MR.
It's threaded its way through many other stages of our lives as well.
It helped him grieve the loss of his late wife.
It inspired me to read Gothicism.

Book of Love is actually something I wanted to send to a member here.
I can't remember if I did, because it made me cry so much.
I sent them another Peter Gabriel which I'll link when it fits a song.
