((Sorry for the minor god play but I needed to make it that Alan got a weapon so I could advance the story also, this RP seems to be nearing a premature ending, hope someone diverts it but that's just what is on my mind right now.))

"Hear that?" Alan asked the girl, "Virgil plans to blow the bunker up! He's going to kill us all with his paranoia! Don't help someone that's going to kill us all! I need to get a weapon!"

After a bit Alan didn't hear anything and thinking she was gone ran towards the armoury. He got hit in his arm and stopped in pain. The girl started reloading a fresh clip in but in this brief respite he ran and hit her so hard that she was knocked out. Normally this wouldn't happen but luckily his adrenaline kicked in around the time he got shot.

He limped in and grabbed an M-16 and a few clips of ammo. Alan radioed in to the Colonel, "I got an M-16, I'm wounded in my arm though, the girl shot me. I could've died. I'm heading to sublevel 4." Oh God this hurts like hell, he thought to himself.

"Right, I'll deal with him." Saldana bolted back to the elevator, and pressed 7. The elevator reached the very bowels of the complex in thirty seconds, and the Colonel ran with his rifle, along a long corridor, with red lights on either side. He ran past the other utility rooms, and keyed in his I.D code when he reached the reactor room, responding to Alan's message with "No, get towards the generator room! Sydney is safe for now, but we have an even bigger problem brewing up." The doors slided open. Crap, Virgil was already there.
"Virgil, what the HELL do you think you're doing?" Saldana trained his rifle on Virgil, aiming at his torso.

((No problem. I was a bit confused as to where she was actually supposed to be anyhow. Guess she's out of commission for a couple rounds.))

"I knocked her out as I went to get a weapon. I guess Virgil had her guarding the armoury. I guess I'll watch her then..." Alan said this into a radio and then found an area in the armoury that he could see the female clearly in and sat down on the ground. He was frightened at the aspect of the reactors going off and prayed to his God that they did infact not go off.

"Sydney is having a mental breakdown and he was planning something, I was forced to act by turning on the diagnostic system and rigging the core to blow. Just catch Sydney and I'll disable the program - don't get any funny ideas. I just have to say a word and the whole thing goes."

Damn. Time to go.

Sydney pulled on the rest of the suit and tried to open the door. When that didn't work, he took out the DEW and aimed it at the aerosol next to the door. He fired, then ducked. The resultant explosion took out the door. He got up and took stock. He hoped that the three musketeers would be able to take out Sydney, but he may need to get to find another way. Then he realised something. He pulled a fire extinguisher off a nearby wall and strode down the corridor towards the reactor area....

"Fool, you'll kill us all. Cancel that sequence, now! Whatever Sydney's up to, it can't be as bad as blowing everyone up!" Saldana tightened his grip on the weapon. "Just do it, you don't want to kill everyone."
This tested the colonel like never before. He was fearful of what could happen if Virgil didn't comply.

Sydney came to the armoury and saw Alan and Nidia (the latter unconscious) on the ground. He yelled through the suit's external speakers. "Where is the Colonel???" But before Alan could reply, he realised what was going on, and rushed for the reactor....

"Hijo de la gran..." Nidia swore under her breath as she came around. Weaponless, again! She stayed on the ground until she'd spotted Alan. "Don't get too excited," she yelled to him. "I'm gonna stay over here." Head and heart pounding, she sat up, looking grim.

((The only thing left is for Sydney to die. It's the end, but the moment has been prepared for... Believe me, Sydney was holding back with some of the info on the 'virus', and he has been prepared....))

"I don't wanna Colonel but Sydney was planning to kill us! f*****g KILL US! Like I am gonna set on my hands while that happens!"

"Just d-don't get any f-funny ideas," Alan stammered," t-try anything funny and y-you'll be out for a b-bit once a-a-again." Alan trained the weapon at Nidia's head.

Sydney caught that part as he waltzed into the reactor room.

"Oh, and I suppose you are doing this for dear, dear, Cameron, hmmm? Tell me Colonel, have you ever heard of this Cameron woman Virgil keeps harping on about?"

((Sydney has a plan, and so do I. Virgil will not be killed or incapacitated, but he will get his wish, if temporarily, to see Sydney dead.))

"I don't harp about her, I told you I saw something once and that's all."

"Virgie! He has something up his sleeve!" Cameron was back again and standing just behind Sydney.

"You choose a bloody good time to show up! What were you doing?! Chatting with a dead president?!"

"You've got me." Her voice was flat. "So long as I'm here with that thing pointed at my head, you might as well tell me your version of what the hell is going on."

"No. What the hell? I never heard him talk about such a woman. Hey, he's talking to himself! Cameron is imaginary, Virgil, she's all in your head."
