Oddly enough, though he was able to build different models of Victrola from 1906 to 1929, and made millions selling records and machines, he never allowed a phonograph in his own house, preferring quiet and books.

left knee cap in motorcycle vs vehicle acvident in 1983 amongst other injuries tore kneecap on left side out of the way under the skin and metal from car body bent to form perfect S shape inbetween the knee joint .. after impact . and bounced kneecap went right back into place and scar tissue that developed in the knee joint allowed knee to move without arthritic condition ever since.. weird but true . strange way to avoid genetically normal left knee arthtitis condition to be avoided. hmm...
pretty sure had the genetically correct parents ..lolz think scar tissue replacing joint lubricant ..
stiff but never painful .
