neotractophobia - fear of moving toward something new

Downtophobia- The fear of the show Downton Abbey.

apoplanisiphobia -- Specifically, the fear of seduction or the fear of being seduced.

parexigisiphobia -- Specifically, the fear of misunderstanding; generally, the fear of being misunderstood.

pyritiophobia -- Specifically, the fear of silicon; more broadly, the fear of anything made of silicon ... glass, sand, semiconductors ...

Teaphobia- The fear of drinking bottled tea.

NBA-phobia:

The fear of the National Basketball Association and/or anyone associated with an NBA team.

Clavophobia - The fear of losing your keys.

This is closely related to Nomophobia - the fear of losing your phone.

There is no 'fear of losing keys', but I suffer from it bigtime!

It's the only real phobia I have.

I've misplaced keys dozens and dozens of times...I have turned the whole house, car, purse etc upside down looking for them....nada.....nothing...

So, I go and phone the locksmith and get a new set cut. Within hours of getting the new set cut, I'll locate the old set in a place where I have already looked...as if there's somebody there moving them around...but nobody is there.

Now, I am so bloody paranoid about this, I wear my keys on a lanyard around my neck and must keep them there 24/7...when I sleep...when I shower....when I bathe....if I remove them from around my neck for any other purpose than starting my car, opening the door etc, I will start to suffer from massive anxiety attacks....if I remove these keys from around my neck, I will die.

I have tried 'having a special spot for them'....I have tried getting an app that locates them...I have tried cutting 5-6 bunches and leaving them with relatives...I have tried everything and nothing works! Nothing except for keeping them on my persons at all times.

I don't know what's going to happen if a doctor needs to x-ray me in future because there's no way these babies are coming off...

Yup, Clavophobia.

taxicallerphobia - The fear of somebody calling you up because what they really want is a taxi but they typed the number in wrong.


Our phone number is extremely easy to dial instead of the local taxis, and we get a fair few drunk people calling late at night, determined to convince us that we are in fact a taxi service even if we insist that we're not. We started just telling them that we would "send one round in ten minutes" without taking their address, then hanging up.
