I think it may just be a balance issue for him. He can already stand up pretty tall when he has something to rest a paw on. The biggest issue would be getting him to give a damn about paying attention to what I was trying to teach him.

That would be a major issue, but so would the strength of his spine and the orientation of the pelvis.
