I lived in LA briefly and I visit there a lot, so I pick NYC. I've never been to NYC.

Would you rather visit Tahiti or Cayman Islands?

Just the idea of "wealthy and powerful" bothers me. I wouldn't want to live anywhere like that!
I suppose if I had to pick, I'd choose Warsaw.

That qualification was added to forestall the obvious objection that Warsaw is preferable for the reason of Poland's relative freedom and wealth.

My answer to your question depends - a designer of what?

Generally speaking, I'd rather, by a considerable margin, be a farmer. I'd love to be a fashion designer though, on the assumption that I had some influence, just to inject some standards into people's dress.

It really depends, actually, on my mood.

Sometimes, I just like numbers....other times, I am entertained by the chapter titles.

Generally speaking, numbers. A notable exception is Villette, which has short yet effective chapter titles.

Email because if I write a letter by hand and mail it, my mom would ask me why I need a stamp, who I am sending the letter to and why I wrote the letter in the first place, so email helps me maintain a sense of privacy.
