I didn't know that. That is very sad indeed... I wasn't aware of how good they are at filtering water either. Thanks for sharing! I always like learning more about animals and zoology.

Quokka!!

Perhaps you've heard of this adorable marsupial before? Dubbed the "worlds happiest animal" these endangered Australian natives have been making their way through social media as the star of many tourist and celebrity selfies. This selfie craze has helped bring attention to the Quokka and their (thankfully growing!)population has become Rottnest Island's biggest tourist attraction!!

... it's natural. A salad of this stuff has more potassium than a banana, and quite a bit of fiber. I bet no other leafy greens are better in any way

Fun fact: fiber is useful for regulatin' your poos and maintaining a healthy gut microbiome get over it and eat some more salad.

^^ Yes, I have heard of the quokka, I learned of it years ago on the text TV in connection with an absolutely awful news story about mistreatment of those little cuties.
I then forgot the name and was rereminded when I googled 'animals starting with q' some years ago! so beautiful and cute
