the SET setup. if you haven't heard an SET amp through top-quality high-efficiency speakers, you don't know what you are missing. the sweetness of the trebles is addictive. it sounds like live acoustically produced music. massed strings sound sweet and lilting even if aggressively miked, try that on any other amp and you'll get a steely sound.
