Thank for helping out ! And silly me didn`t explain properly. I wanted to post the Alaskan sledge dog because it is the dog breed I have(two out of three) and I couldn`t find a online photo that looked like mine. They are dark and have less of the "polar-look".

Now I have worked on being able to post my own pictures here and would like to test if it works so please let me know if it doesn`t ? It is my first try to post an private image and often first time goes wrong..

Fun fact: Migrating mallards have been clocked flying at 55 miles per hour!
I raised three of these from babies and one of the females and her (wild)mate still live on our lake. They like to come up to the pool for a dip even though my mom always chases them out!

graceksjp: I found this site called imgur.com and created an account so I could upload my photos there. Then I use my own photos the same way as images found elsewhere online: I insert the link of my photo from imgur into the "insert image" here. I wasn`t sure if my settings on imgur were right so that my link would make my photo visible in my postes here but it seems to be correct. I hope I explained it well for you I don`t know if people here will recommend other sites than imgur...I haven`t used sites like that before so I just went for this one.

Postimages.org is the best I found. You can make an account (optional), so you can always delete a photo later, if you want. Photos also never expire like on most other services, if you click that option. Highly recommend this website.

When you use the site, use the Direct Link and copy that over to this forum. Then select and push the image button in the bar above this (the 7th icon, farthest to the right). If you need help, just send me a PM.

The problem with Imgur is that all images are put out in public, I believe. Everyone can see them and use them. Companies watch those kind of websites to use your images. Personally don't recommend using them.

In the albumsettings on Imgur I can choose between three options for the albums: public, hidden or seceret where on Hidden it says "hidden from your account page, but is still accessible with the direct URL." I wasn`t sure exactly what that meant. It says you will be the only one to see access the album if you choose Secret.
But I have no experience with these sites and this is my first try. If I `m not happy with it in a while I can always change.
