About the Doctor in pyjamas and dressing gown looking like Arthur Dent? I also love how he first shows the darker side of his personality when, as the Sycorax Leader tries to attack him, the Doctor throws a satsuma (sort of orange or mandarin) against a control panel, causing part of the wing where the Sycorax Leader is to drop off into thin air. As the Sycorax Leader plunges to his death, the Doctor comments "No second chances."

I suppose so. But the signature comes from The Family of Blood. Although it is spoken by a different actor in the trailer, in The Family of Blood, Tim Latimer comes to see John Smith (the human alter-ego of the Doctor), Joan Redfern, and Martha. He has the Doctor's fobwatch and its contents: the Doctor's essence, which he describes as such:

I'm hoping I like Martha. I like Rose so much, I can't imagine someone being a suitable replacement.

Martha is a good replacement for Rose. She's a bit smarter and levelheaded.
