What's "Black Mesa" and shouldn't it either be "Mesa Negra" or "Black Table"?

I sometimes have a problem of spelling "mountain" "mountian" but I never spell "rain" "rian" or "Christian" "Christain", why?

Maybe you are thinking subconsciously of the RCMP (the Mounties). :)

Don't think so, but maybe.

I was born in the mid 80's, I don't remember seeing those bottles actually.
