I think...if we were to continue, the winning number should go down and not up. 400 was too high, for example. Maybe 200 is a good number. Or less to keep people interested.

Maybe on the same thread it can recycle. The 50th person wins, then 100th, then 150th, then 200th, all on the same thread, that way it can keep going.

I don't know...I think it's easier to kill the thread once the winning post is reached and not keep stretching it...maybe that's why iamnotaparakeet's thread didn't survive. Just my thoughts.

I suppose, but then there is Last Person To Post Wins in which each person to post wins. I guess it could be the false hope that someday the thread will be ignored that drives it to success.
