G'day all!

Theory: Locke wishes to skate lightly over the question of ownership and possession, and thus obscure his/her moral wrongdoing.

(Who is Locke, by the way? I've no idea.) :)

Locke from Final Fantasy VI. While he is a thief, he prefers Treasure Hunter. But he's fairly moralistic, and works with those rebelling against a great empire. TheAPERSON has a drawing of Locke by Yoshitaka Amano as an avatar.

Ah, so he's a nuanced character. The drawing is great - splendidly baroque.

He's also one of the most powerful characters in the game if you equip him right. Give him the Valiant Knife, Ultima Weapon and Ultima, train him up to high levels you can do loads of damage. Locke is my second favourite character next to Kefka. If you have a brigands glove (which I don't, why did I miss it?) you can steal and do massive damage at the same time. I think Locke would prefer to be called a treasure hunter because he feels he should fight on the good side. He just happens to treasure hunt in other people's pockets.

He was hard, but you obviously haven't fought Ultima or Zodiark. Exodus is a doddle compared to them. And don't get me started on Hell Wyrm.

Nope. My characters are level 32-35, I need to do a bit more levelling up and buy bubble belts. I took away about 60% of his HP before I got wiped out.

I do know that they are very tough enemies. I wasn't even looking for Exodus though, but a mark somewhere in the Mosphoran Highwaste.

I think I was already in the 40's before I attempted Exodus. I only used Bubble Belts on the final battle after the Undying kept on creaming me, even at the high 60's. I've found them useful for fighting the Shadowseer and the Hell Wyrm.

I'm going to level my characters up a bit more, but I do not doubt that they are capable of destroying Exodus.

I won't be playing it for a long while because I don't have a Wii....yet.

I have an Xbox 360.
