I haven't driven a car for almost 20 years. Used to enjoy it, but it became an increasingly bad experience because of restrictions on parking, the huge increase in the number of speed cameras, fuel and insurance costs, etc. Trains preferred now, but they've become barely affordable as well.

Electric heating or gas in the home?

lived with gas a few decades back, expensive. electricity for me.

I am close to getting a ground source heat pump which should save me money in the medium to long term.

Headphones or in-ear buds?

Headphones (Panasonic RPHT225, since you ask). Earbuds seem absolutely ridiculous to me.
