Alaric, observing that Myrrhdyn had deliberately disengaged her consciousness, gently called it forth into reality, taking great care as always to make sure it was the same reality that her body was in. Well, almost always. It had been many centuries, nearly a whole millennium, since he had inadvertently summoned someone's mind to a different reality to their body; it would almost certainly be as many whole millennia (as many millennia to come as the number of centuries that had passed) into his personal future before he did such a thing deliberately, and never again would it be an accident. He realised that Quatermass would have exhausted much of his aionio-magico-temporal energy defeating the Raksha; more troublingly he noticed through the non-invasive (non-mind reading) healing link that Myrrhdyn's store was also depleted, and promptly gave her some from his own fortunately recently renewed source.
"Odd," he remarked, "Rakshas are not indigenous to this particular space-time continuum, but a different part of the Multiverse altogether, and only the most potent and puissant Rakshasas, the rajahs of the lesser rakshas, such as Ravana are adept at inter-dimensional or trans-cosmic transportation. This is probably an ominous development indeed. Any thoughts?" he inquired, turning to the revived Myrrhdyn, thinking Quatermass had done enough work for now.

The world of non consciousness, especially given the method she had used to bring this about, was hazy and humid, thick with a fine mist of memories and fragments of time... oh no, contrary to popular belief, this kind of unconsciousness did not result in a total void of anything...she had simply stepped out of herself for a time into that place where one's spirit bides it's time, waiting for the decision to be made as to where and when it should go next... what most also didn't know was that time was, ironically, of the essence here. The longer it was left before action was taken, the less likely it was that the consciousness could be pulled back to it's rightful body...some spirits counterracted this annoyance by simply stepping into another body that was otherwise unoccupied...others still would simply throw out a sleeping spirit and step into the immobile shell.

She was not sure how much time had passed back among the solid, but she found herself gently pulled back into a reconnective state with the body that had become known as Myrrhdyn. It took a few moments for her to readjust and she trembled slightly as the physical form attempted to adjust its temperature to the norm, but all in all, whoever had done the deed had done an adequate and painless job.

Still trembling, and trying to conceal this, she opened her eyes and glanced up at the sky, noting it was daylight, before glancing to her right and seeing Alaric. Once she had taken note of his presence, she flicked her eyes all around until she located Quatermass, who appeared to be looking ragged around the edges and about to collapse in a most untypical heap. She opened her mouth to speak, but was interrupted as the lilting tones of Alaric broke into the silence. With one final long stare at the other, she turned to the owner of the voice, listening intently, arms wrapped around herself in an attempt to warm up...she wished dearly she had bought her cloak with her.

She already knew what was happening, but didn't especially wish to contemplate what it might mean for the entire universe they existed in. Shaking her head slightly and bracing one hand on the ground, she turned her stare to the trees directly ahead of her, not daring to look to either of her companions.

'It would seem that the Anameic Ragnarok is coming to pass...the fine lines that kept the various universes in their own unique dimensions are being curved and bent like weak willow branches, but by what, I do not know...what just happened is only the beginning, I fear... there will be crossovers all over the place if this continues. It is almost as if...', she swallowed heavily, and turned to look at Quatermass, biting her lip for a second, 'As if someone out there is deliberately manipulating the time/space continuum... and whoever it is, is more powerful than each of us individually. I suppose it is possible a group is involved, but that is not what I am sensing. With such a major distortion of the very fabric that has thus far kept discordant universes separate, I fear we are in grave trouble', she finished, struggling to pull herself to her feet. She knew that if they were to progress any further, she would need to give healing to Quatermass, and Alaric had evidently used a good amount of his own stores on her reunion with her body.

Quatermass still staggered a little, but after seeing the revival of Myrrhdyn at the hands of Alaric, he thought, now was the time.

"Sorry I can't heal you guys, but unfortunately, my regenerative powers are a bit on the selfish side. I knew I should've learnt Curaga...."

Quatermass concentrated, then focused his energy. The burns on his body vanished, and he felt less exhausted. He knew his expression had changed to one more focused and calm. He knew they would be seeing wisps of blue energy coming out of his collar and sleeves. This was regeneration, but only enough to heal the body, rather than change it completely. The events on the last day or so had taken their toll on his body, and this was the best way to deal with it.

"Okay, that's better. Now THAT was the polar opposite of the EON Blast. Both of them use artron energy, I think..."

((Aionio-magico-temporal energy, my derriere. If you want, I'll explain about the EON Blast...))

Alaric frowned gravely, absorbing the impact of Myrrhdyn's words.
"It is even as you say I fear. Not only individually, but even a pair of us without the third are likely to prove fairly feeble against this foe - all due respects (and humble thanks) to Quatermass, that raksha was comparatively innocuous compared to some beings in existence; if Ra'a Ruach has grown this potent, even all three of us may find this the most difficult task of our long lives."
He noticed the swirl of artron energy (which he had initially incorrectly identified as aiono-magico-temporal energy, which had a similar relation to the former as magnetism to electricity; remembering the recently regenerated head (as well as observing its difference since the last time they met, he had sensed the recent and partial nature of this regeneration) he was impressed with Quatermass' command of this energy; he also thought it improbable much more of this could be done without further damage to the interdimensional fabric of the multiverse, and promptly said as much. There were simply to many holes in this fabric for such a force to be employed so liberally without further exaccerbating the already considerable peril. He then rested, recuperating his spent energy; after about nine minutes he arose and suggested they seek the whereabouts of Irial and her companions, admittedly rather difficult to follow at present due to the airship. He eagerly awaited their respective responses (he realised it was highly probable that these might differ).

((*giggles slightly at all the pseudo and semi pseudo science we are bringing into this rp, and wonders who will be the winner for most imaginative techno babble*))

Myrrhdyn watched as Quatermass performed his remarkable feat of partial regeneration, whilst feeling slightly deflated that she had not had the opportunity to display her own healing abilities once more. Sighing, she briefly dwelt on memories of a time between them that the other had clearly forgotten...afterall, it had occurred a long time ago... before pulling herself fully to her feet, trying hard not to show her disappointment on her face. Truth be told, all of the technical talk had always irked her somewhat, but she had always managed to calm herself down with the reminder that boys, will indeed, be boys...or in this case, men. Of course, she had the same understandings as anyone else on these matters, but she had always worded them in a more simple and different way.

She folded her arms across her chest and turned to Alaric as he finished

' In other words, our world is in great danger, the universe is in grave danger, meaning that we must not perform any high energy amendments and you cannot do this without me?', she said, holding back a slight grin at the anticipated responses of the others. She turned and took a few steps away, facing the deeper areas of foliage, stepping from foot to foot as if trying to make an intensely difficult decision. Finally, after some minutes had passed, she turned around and stepped between the two men, facing Quatermass,

'And what do you say to this development? I have my own ideas on how to proceed, but afterall, you are the man of unique insights...'

"Unique? I doubt, 'let's go save the world from evil and destruction' is unique. However, you are needed. I lack knowledge about this world itself. All those times I stopped here, I was merely passing through, an itinerant wanderer through the wastes of time. I could easily leave here and leave this world to be consumed. But I can't. I won't. Because of who I am. But you, Myrrhdyn, you lived here your whole life, more or less. Besides, my powers of regeneration, while impressive, aren't infinite and omnipotent. It's very good, but not infinite, so I ask that you come. Besides, you might be able to spot something that I can't."

Quatermass couldn't exactly tell them that his life force, while infinite (in terms of duration), could still be drained significantly. The EON Blast drained his life, then focused it into a destructive blast. Normally, this would not be a problem, as the lost life force would be shortly replenished. But consider some of the creatures we may be going up against, he thought to himself. He remembered Jack Harkness and Abaddon. He might need Myrrhdyn's help. They all might.

Now came the hard part.

"It would be easy to do a time-slash to the airship but for two reasons. One, we don't know where it is, and I dunno whether it has this world's equivalent of GPS. Two, time-slashes are going to be kep to a minimum due to this time-space changing. So, do any of you two have any means of summoning them here?"

"I can probably try," volunteered Alaric. "I suggest that I try to contact Irial; I know Sindri a little better, but he is likely to prove resistant. Marie would probably be risky for me to attempt a link with at the moment; Tom and Dibble will be hard for me to locate in terms of their exact positions; though finding the others would give approximate location, that is insufficient accuracy for this sort of thing. In any case we will be dependent upon the persuasive abilities of whoever I contact; I am not really in the habit of completely overriding people's powers of volition (or free will, Myrrhdyn; I did use "risky" earlier, so I am clearly not uniformly pompous!) Are you two too exhaused to attempt to reach one of the others each?"

"Well, as far as telepathy is concerned, I don't give, just recieve. And I don't mean summon here against their will. Just ask..."

Dibble and Tom were still fighting off Goblins.

"This is insane!" Tom growled.

Dibble looked at him, pale as a ghost. She wasn't used to fighting, only causing....

"Hmmm....can you the teleporty-thing?" she asked.

"Doubtful. I'm not risking getting us both blended up in time and space." he replied.

He perked up.

"Did you hear that?"

((Sorry, I was getting bored))
