She is old for a parakeet, but she may have gotten diabetes from eating some of the marmalade of my sandwiches when she use to fly over and share my food with me. I'm not letting my step-dad hurt Petey the way he did Peppercini though; I want Petey to die a natural death. Lately she has been having seizures so I have to get her out of the cage and hold her until she calms down. I love Petey and the other birds; I'm still sharing food with them, but I've cut out sugar from my diet so this doesn't happen again.

Interesting, a New Zealand comic with a unique set of characters. Can't think of one I've seen like it. Wizard of Id maybe, but without the animals and having nothing to do with farm life. Neat.
