That sounds good to me. So, we're a band of roving gypsies, and we start from Quebec (but not wearing Boston Bruins jerseys, 'cos that incenses the officious officials).

We know who we are, where we start and what we're not wearing.

Useless information to anyone but us, so by all means, lets agree on that. In case we get questioned separately by the officials, we should have our story straight. It was poached eggs and smoked salmon, right?

While I'm happy about the smoked salmon, everyone needs to remember - I didn't have the poached eggs. (Hate 'em - that texture, and the smell!)

You actually have the wrong end of the stick. I'm a bit of a "waste not, want not" freak. I do like the yolks of hard boiled, poached and fried eggs (which contain the pretty xanthophylls), but the white I detest, and would have to leave, which I don't like to do. Predominantly, it's the texture that I can't stand, as, inconsistently, I love omelettes and pretty much all other ways of presenting eggs.

Aha. Okay, that's an easy fix. I'll eat the whites of Lau's eggs so they won't go to waste. He can have my yolks. Or maybe we should just make it easy by scrambling everything. The important thing is to get the facts straight.
