there now exists a thoroughly restored [using state-of-the-art software and hardware] copy of the legendary 1938 benny goodman allstars jazz concert at carnegie hall. through a good stereo audio system it is very nearly like being there. granted, the balances aren't what they could be, some original signal was lost [the quietest parts] due to high noise levels and limited resolution of the original recording equipment which was primitive even by 1938 standards. but the new software ameliorated 99% of those issues. it is well-worth listening to. it was the rock n'roll of its day.

The letters in LCMs (also known as "Rice Krispies" in other parts of the world) apparently don't have any particular meaning. Kellogg's chose the name purely because it sounded nice.
