P2, KF94, N95 or KN95 masks should work well enough with the omicron variant.

I think it's because the US uses 110 V electricity, instead of 230/240 volts, and so electric kettles probably take longer to boil there. For them it's probably quicker and easier to heat water in the microwave. I'll admit, I'm kinda keen to try it. :P

Yes, your skin can blister if a sunburn is bad enough.

if you have no metal rods/plates/screws in your lumbar and SI joint region, a lumbar traction is just what the doc ordered for low back pain.

My first attempt at making tea in a microwave.

Method:
Add water to mug and microwave for 1.5 minutes. Then add sugar and teabag and allow it to diffuse for ~2 minutes before adding milk.

Result:
Yep, it makes a decent cup of tea, if slightly colder than I'm used to.

Analysis:
I wonder if it'll be hotter if add everything together before microwaving it (how long would it take for the tea and sugar to diffuse in cold water, I wonder). Or maybe I could use long-life milk at room temperature. Alternatively I could repeat the method above and then heat everything up a second time, for ~30 seconds. Might give those ideas a go.

So far, the fourth Covid shot will only be available for high-risk people, in the lead-up to winter.

No idea if it'll stay that way, though.
