I now live in the area of Seattle, Grunge Mecca of the World.

Bands I have liked to various degrees over the years include Foo Fighters, The Smashing Pumpkins, Alice In Chains, Silverchair, Modest Mouse (not all of these may be considered Grunge, but some come from this area and have sort of a heritage in it).

It's not my main concentration of musical interest, but a lot of good music has come from it. I'm not that cynical- or bleak-feeling these days.

New Wave music.

If I've ever heard "New Wave music", I didn't know to what I was listening.

The Simpsons' episode which poked fun at Furby was memorable to me for the creepy final scene, which I found hilarious. ("I'm very mad at ooo!")

I can imagine playing these games is really fun for you-----I LOVE them-----but, to make sure you're playing them correctly, you might want to read the very FIRST page for each of the games.

Zip ties are surprizingly strong, and work well.

In my job, I actually trouble shoot certain kinds of cash registers fairly often, or at least advise people who are working on them directly.

I like to watch the parakeets whenever I'm in a pet store. My brother had a cockatiel... I had to check just now to remind myself that it was not a parakeet.

Firefox does not recognize "cockatiel" and suggests "cockatrice" instead.

I can remember, when I was a kid, the Cicadas being so bad that they totally covered the sidewalk (dead ones, and shells of others). I haven't even noticed whenever they've come-out, since then.

I once watched a tutorial on how to clean your face with kitty litter-it was weird to say the least.

Sesame Street.
