It's kind of a thing where you both (Starbuline and hale) tend to overreact in a similar way. It's nothing really, just a difference in opinion.

Why don't you like Tequila? (just asking for examples)

If you don't know, don't worry. He makes assumptions about people.

If I saw him in real life I would throw something at him. Like a brick. I've never really hit ot off with net people, though. Don't worry about that though, I only have an unhealthy hate for internet people, no-one in real life.

I hate arguments or disputes like this. There's nothing I can do to fix it, and it gets me really upset.

People on the internet are real people too.

I find it hard to see internet people as being real people sitting there with their own personalities, feelings etc, but I do try to remember that, unless something really causes me to blow a fuse. I prefer online people to people in my real life.

But for some reason they all seem to be smartarse, outspoken and rude. (I'm not counting myself out here, either. To be Quite frank, I get on a lot better with quieter people in both cases)

I suppose people feel safer to express all of their personalities, including the negative, in an online environment...less repercussions.

When DID WP go bad anyway? Was it a particular time or did it just happen over time?

I'm getting pretty upset over this, in a heading-down-the-road-to-crying sort of way.

It's always had probelms, but like with everything else, the more people, the more personality clashes.

The month or so when I first joined, wp has about 600 members. I really liked it, but most of those people have gone for various reasons.

I wouldn't get upset over it...as obvious as it sounds, it wont change anything... I suppose wp, like everything, has to change...lets face it, everything is transient, nothing stays the same and I guess it has a much higher membership now than it used to? Bound to be more clashes with so many different personalities floating around.

I could see why one might think that. It isn't that way for me, I'm just reading text. I get somewhat annoyed with certain things though, like disorganized globs of text and bulk posting. (or PSOTing as Unknown calls it)

Personally I haven't seen than many active users around since when I first joined. Sure, WP's gained 3,000 members in the time I've been here, but the amount of users on daily or at least weekly is still the same.

Yes, those can be a pain as they're difficult to read.

It's been very active. My peak posting was probably in 2005. People come and go, I guess when you registered, a lot of the people had gone.
