Moomingirl, you are one of the people I like best on here. You're inclusive and funny, and that's very much appreciated.

Thanks Skilpadde, I like you too. I still credit you with finally getting me into studying my languages properly. Italian is coming along really well now, I can read easy books, and am working my way up to harder stuff.

Finnish is sloooow, but I will get there one day. I looked at Russian yesterday, just for fun. I won't continue that just now, but I'd definitely like to do it in the future. Norwegian is on the list too, your country is so beautiful. 8)

Moomingirl likes Norway because Moomins love to ice-skate.

And because she loves the idea of a country where everybody wears reindeer sweaters.

But why is she skating upside down?

True, true.

@enviro - because I'm unconventional, that's why. :P

Of course. Much more interesting.

How about combining pole dancing and ice skating? Now there's a challenge!

I guess I should share some of my unconventional ideas that often visit me during the night, providing me with new material, and let me know what you think, once it's in some sort of order.

:D

I like that idea. Although it could get messy. I think I've left enough blood on the ice. :wink:

Thanks! :) I'm very glad your Italian is coming along! And that what I said then inspired you. It's so fun when one can actually start using it and read books.

Really? This old country?

I had to look that up. I see what you mean. I know the Moomins cartoons were well known in Japan, maybe they were done there, or stylised in a Japanese way to appeal to the market. Here's what the moomins originally looked like in the books:

Skilpadde, thanks for those links, I will check them out after breakfast. :D

I love the figure to the left. Looks like me. The big one, that is. Remember, two meters.
