"Um.. I don't know." They shrugged. "But it's not me."

Suddenly they were surrounded by a bubble. The bubble began lowering them to the ground. "I swear, it's not me."

Then they dropped. "Ugh!"

Lilli picked themself up and looked curiously at Laura and Sycamore.
"Um.. is there any... thing here that could... move things with its mind?"

They couldn't see it, but a yellow Pokemon was floating in the corner.
Its eyes were closed, but it was watching.

"Wait, with his mind?! I can levitate things with my acoustic resonator implants and if I had the right hardware hardware I could create a localized gravity field to levitate things, but how can he do that with his mind?"

"Pop! Popplio!" the sea lion squeaked, cheering on his friend Abra.

"He has psychic powers! there's a whole category dedicated to pokemon that do this kind of thing." Laura explained. The mischevious Abra snickered.

"No way." Lilli whispered.

So I'm not alone..

They pointed their thumb at the Abra. "D-does it belong to the lab, or is it wild?"

Guinan watched the psychic pokemon curiously, though she couldn't see much of interest. Lily's floating had been the fun part. "What would we have to do to catch a pokemon like that?" Guinan wondered aloud. "And how about the other pokemon? They seem to like who they're with. Will they follow you?" she asked Calem and glanced at Mike and Lily as well. She wondered if Professor Sicamore's three pokemon had found their three new trainers.

"I dunno, but I gotta catch 'im." That was magic, it had to be magic.

They inched forward cautiously and pulled out their Pokedex.

"Abra, the Psi Pokemon. It senses impending attacks and teleports away to safety before the actual attacks can strike."

"Uhm.." Shoot. How could you approach it without scaring it off?

They pulled a Poke Puff out of their backpack and started munching on it. "Mm.."
Their eyes went wide. Of course!

They sat down on the floor and slid one toward the Abra. "Here, bro." they said between mouthfuls of food. "Have one."

Mike waves his Pokedex around scanning all the Pokemon in the immediate area, and he did the same thing with his scanner. The Pokedex provides a lot of information that the scanner doesn't, it will certainly come in handy. He reads the information given by the Pokedex about the scanned Pokemon.

(OOC: So Abra was a wild pokemon in the area that Lillikoi came up with for her character, right? Assuming there are other wild pokemon that our characters could notice and scan nearby?

Anything special I should know if I create them? Like, do the wild pokemon always have to battle with a trainer's existing pokemon to get captured? Can they run away, defeat the trainer's pokemon, ETC? Is there anything I should or shouldn't have them do?

Also, about the pokeballs, Guinan has one pokeball that Q gave her. Does she need to acquire another one to capture a new pokemon, or can she use the one she has? Her existing pokemon would follow her, with or without the pokeball I think.)

BIC: Guinan quietly watched Lily woo her potential new pokemon. To the professor, she said, "These devices would come in handy when I find pokemon I want to catch. I would buy this one from you, but I don't have any money. Any ideas?"

Abra seemed really happy. She gladly took the pokepuff and took a bite out of it. "Abra! Abra!" she squeaked. "Abrrrrraa..." she cried, running circles around Lilli.

"Heh, normally I wouldn't do this, but she really seems to like you. You can have her. Her name is Magia."

"I came up with that name myself!" Laura piped proudly.

(Each pokemon that belongs to somebody has their own pokeball. A pokemon doesn't have to be battled if ther really like the person. that's pretty much it.)

Guinan looked confused. "Was she your pokemon then, or a wild pokemon?" she asked Laura.

"No, there are a ton of other pokemon living in the garden. I don't know if I should call them wild or owned by the lab, but I used to come here a lot to help take care of them, but it wasn't until after a few weeks after my second Leauge that I realized the issue with my memories, and then I started feeling sad. I stopped coming here, stopped battling, and all I did was go to the Battle Institute to watch other people maybe once every few weeks. I also shut all my friends out, but Calem stuck to me like a bad stain, for some reason. I probably should go back to the garden to see everybody again though." she explained, staring at the ground.

"Why did you stop coming to the garden?" Guinan asked Laura. "Why did you stop battling? It seems like you were quite good at it, and the professor obviously cares about you." She smiled at Laura then and glanced toward the professor.

"I was really, really sad. Sure, I love how glamourous, fast paced and fun it is being the champion, I was upset that... When I was doing interviews, I thought, 'am I actually who I say I am?' and I got all sad about that, and..." Professor Sycamore had left the back door to the garden open, and a shiny Growlithe rushed out and tackled her, licking her face. "Okay, okay, I'm coming." she said, following the creature outside. The garden was beautiful, it looked like they had just walked into the countryside instead of a big city. Pokémon were everywhere, everything from Rattata an Zigzagoon to a few shiny pokemon and two Charizard.

Sorry I took so long to respond, I spent the last 9 hours building a digital clock using redstone in Minecraft with my friend. I built the system that converted a binary number into inputs for a seven segment display and he built the binary counter.

Mike follows everyone into the garden and is amazed by the variety of Pokemon there. This Earth is amazing, these Pokemon are certainly cooler the the rats, frogs, insects, and the other rather boring creatures on my Earth.

Lilli looked around.
It was a beautiful day outside- the sun was shining, birds were chirping, Pokemon playing in the trees.

"You.. don't need to be sad, y'know."

Lilli looked down as Laura turned around to speak to them.

"W-we're here for you, y'know?
And.. if you ever need anything..."

Guinan nodded to Laura, giving her an understanding smile. "Sometimes it's lonely being the champion, but you have an amazing bond with these creatures."
