Very unbelievably long post Trigger. Did you copy and paste that with a little editing, or did you recite it using Dragon Speak dictate remembering to verbally say "perin bleep perin" at each bad word?

Well, no...not really.

Post 1994:

In 1994, it was a roller coaster. The first half was pretty good. Lots of concerts: Lollapalooza, Beck, Weezer, Helmet, The Samples, Nine Inch Nails, Live, Green Day, Hole, The Reverend Horton Heat, and The Smashing Pumpkins...to name a few. But, my girlfriend broke up with me a week after my birthday and two days after my car was totalled by some old dude who hit me in a parking lot. We fought because I was messed up from the car accident. That was rough, especially since we shared classes, as we both were working on Math majors and I was tutoring her. I had no car for two months. "I love you so much, but love is not enough", she said. I'll never forget those words. The show Friends, and my crush on Rachel, helped me get through my loss. Later, I was going to so many concerts, I actually went to see Helmet the night before my Quantum Physics final. I did not study for any of my finals, but still pulled a 4.0. I still don't know how I did it. At one point, I put a loaded shotgun to my head. On the bright side, the University of Virginia had already recruited me for Grad School and actually wanted me for the Fall '94 semester, but I stayed at the University of Louisville to stay with my girlfriend. It was two weeks into the semester when she broke up with me. I left UofL in December to go to UVa, where I transferred back my last few credits to get my degrees in 1995 from UofL.

Music:
Seven Mary Three "Churn" - Became good friends and helped them out in their early career. Great bunch of guys.
Beastie Boys "Ill Communication" - Sabotage, an all-time great video.
Blur "Park Life"
Green Day "Dookie" - Saw them with Pansy Division opening up at Bogart's in Cincinnati. I was not aware the meaning of their name until a few songs into the show. That was interesting.
Hole "Live Through This" - Met Courtney and Frances after their show in Louisville. She was nice and the baby was cute. I missed Kurt.
The Jesus & Mary Chain "Stoned And Dethroned"
Jewel "Pieces Of You"
Live "Throwing Copper"
Lush "Split"
Nine Inch Nails "The Downward Spiral"
The Ocean Blue "Peace And Light"
R.E.M. "Monster"
The Samples "Autopilot" - One of the greatest albums of all time.
Weezer "Weezer"
They Might Be Giants "John Henry"
Helmet "Betty" - This album got me through a lot.
Beck "Mellow Gold"
Too Skinnee J's "All American Heroes" - Changed their name to 2 Skinnee J's later, but this cassette had classics like 'Periscope' and 'Godzilla'.

Ummm, glad you are doing well now and you have quite an interesting taste in music and movies. I am so jealous though that you got to meet Courtney Love!

Very well and thank you. It was at Thunderdome down on Bardstown Road.

Post #2002:

In 2002, the New England Patriots won Super Bowl XXXVI. I always expected the Red Sox to eventually win a World Series in my lifetime, but never really expected the Pats to win a Super Bowl. It was an unbelievable run. The Miami Hurricane Football Team continued their winning streak through the 2002 regular season, winning their 6th National Championship in the Fiesta Bowl against Ohio State in OT. Then some referee changed the outcome. But I prefer my version. I was there, and there was no interference/holding or anything else. Knocked up my wife again. Changed jobs. Shredded my ACL playing Hockey...finally getting it reconstructed after 7 years with a partial tear. By now they had all but outlawed camping out for tickets, taking out a bit of the fun for Episode II...

Nine Inch Nails "And All That Could Have Been"
Nerf Herder "American Cheese"

Zinfandel is a very popular type of wine, although I have to say I prefer a good Cabernet or Merlot instead, but it will do in a pinch!

Brandy... I guess I haven't had a brandy for at least two years. Maybe I'll just stick to water.

Well...according to the rules at the time, it actually was not. They have since changed the rule. Don't forget, Vinatieri still had to nail a long FG in a blizzard just to tie the game and then the Patriots had to move it down in OT and kick another one in blizzard conditions to win it.

Post #2005:

The year 2005 saw the New England Patriots winning Super Bowl XXXIX after completing a record breaking winning streak. I was hit by another car, resulting in months of rehab and a fight with insurance companies leading me to hire a lawyer, something I thought I would never do. I suppose I knocked up the wife for a third and final time too. I had a tumor removed my throat and got scoped on both ends. Not fun. The long awaited finale to the Star Wars Saga finally came to theatres.

The end of a saga...in theatres anyway:
