That's a difficult one. I can't think of an obvious opposite to exist. I guess I'd use "doesn't exist", "stopped existing", "never existed", or some other combination of words. There must be one, but I just can't think.

existing .

Sorry, that's one of the oddities in English. It's the same as
inflammable meaning the same as
flammable . And that one could cause some real mistakes
