I don't always fail to recognize people, but it can be a challenge.
And yes, meeting a neighbor in the stairwell makes it easier to recognize them than if I meet someone on the street or in a store and they say hi, then I'm often lost. If my mother is there I will ask her afterwards "whio was that?" and she will laugh and tell me it was this or that person, for instance the neighbor. But there are also people I recognize outside of where I know them, so I don't always draw blanks. But it's definitely easier to know who they are when they are where In expect them to be (like in the stairwell, in a store, in schoool when I was younger etc)

I wonder what would have happened if Japan had managed to make the a-bomb first? Both the US, Japan and Germnay were in a race to be the first. That's why the "Norwegian heavy water sabotage" during WW2 was so important.

I find it very fascinating to hear about what daily life was like for regular people in the last century, and especially what it was like to live here during the war.

Japan also seemed to have a 'Racial Superiority' idea going on, and they seemed to view their emperor as something of a demigod as well.......their involvement in the war was, to them, sort of a cultural/religious crusade.

They were fanatical. Even after two atom bombs, they wanted to keep on going to the end. However, their emperor stepped in and called on his people to stop without using the words 'defeat' or 'surrender'.

Thank you, Kura!

Except for one big snowstorm (That has melted) I've got no snow in my yard!

Green? Oh, I get it. The grass.

I have a long driveway, so that means quite a bit to clear out.

My driveway is slanted at a weird angle, but the snow sticks anyway. Oh, and guess what? I'm going to get Pokemon SoulSilver soon! :D

It was released several years ago for the DS.
