Look, I didn't say they were all good stories. Issues with my father, the wife, blah blah blah. My son had a blast at his Spider-Man party though. I, of course, took refuge on my deck cooking on the grill away from all of the noise of my in-laws.

My nephew loves Spiderman, I made him a spiderman cake one year, and he made me do the same cake for the next two years! Now he is into "skateboarding"

Nothing wrong with skateboarding. I was a skate rat in Middle School and I turned out...oh wait...bad example.

Oh I like skateboarding, we have a skate park here and we love to go watch them, the kid next door to me rides also. My nephew is "too cool" for me now, I am old after all!

was your father's wife being "unpleasant" again??

Public skate parks are rare, and Louisville has one of the best. Unfortunately, it did not exist when I lived there.

As for my father's wife, they did not come, because (a) he didn't get my e-mail since it was sent between work accounts and he left the office for the weekend early and (b) she is not invited anyway. See my "Need advice about my father..." thread.

Questions I have posted for you in your thread, just finished reading it.

(but I agree with not inviting her)

Rolling my eyes at the drama. The Daily Show was rerun with a bit about Vick and how lame it was that the NFL broadcasters were more concerned about the gambling aspect or potentially turning on teammates. Never mind he killed dogs with his own hands. How pathetic is our society?

Thank you for setting the alphabet straight again. Who knew this game would be so hard!

Understandable that littlesmiley might get it wrong, as even Trigger11 got it wrong here on the immediately previous page, when you magnanimously ignored his blatant error.

Very true, although I have to admit it was my fault, I messed up first but then went back and changed mine when Trigger11 did not. And it seemed as if he had a lot on his mind last night so I let it slide just this once!

Wandering off now, for a while, for a wash (bath actually) then wipe the 'fridge out (actually, defrost it), when it'll be time to think about wending my way toward the "Asperger Social Group" this evening. Will I drink beer? Wonderful as the beer might be, when I drive, I don't "wet my whistle". Well, having over populated this with "W" words, I'll stop. Wheeee!! !

X-ray vision you have, or some way to see into the past? I do not know what you are talking about, as I clearly wrote "Look," at the beginning of that post as I typed it into MSWord last night before cutting and pasting it into WP. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
