Well, I'm going to bed now (1:20 AM) and I imagine this thread shall exceed 400 replies tomorrow.

See you all then.

I have no idea. I'm thinking something similar, biotechnology for now. I don't really know.

I feel like taking a few courses here and there, maybe something to do with computing too. (I'm too ignorant in computer matters).

Biology, as it relates to chemistry and physics, is a fascinating subject. Ecological tests, like taking soil or water samples, or studying population growth of cultures is simpler than trying to learn a computer language. I'd recommend the biotechnology route; I've tried learning Java and it bores me to tears so I can't make any headway (sorry, I know it's just an opinion, though if you're not into computers it may be worse for you.) Computer programmers, like my stepdad, make LOTs of money (say around $70,000), whereas most technicians would make around $25,000 to $35,000 per year, some less some more. With college costing so much it is difficult to choose the route to take; some things you would like to take, but will they land a good job?

Know I said I was going to sleep, but thought I should reply first. Goodnight all.

No, I was thinking something as an extra for computers, a merely hobby activity. I've been wanting to learn how to work Flash Macromedia for quite some time now. looks like great fun. I wouldn't want to learn programming...it does look boring.

I know what you mean about the job thing - it was my mistake on my last choice. Also, a college degree is not necessary in that area, as most don't even have one. Just seemed like throwing away 4 and a half years on something like that was a bad idea.

How would you intend to work with Flash Macromedia? Building intros to websites or designing games?

My stepdad just had gotten a BA in Chemistry and Physics, but since he studied computer languages on his own, such as Fortran, C, and a few others, he got jobs with DOD and other places as a computer programmer. Even if you don't need a degree in that area, it still shows that you are mentally competent.

Morning Shades. Afternoon Silver. Goodnight Quatermass. It is 11 AM here.

I don't intend to work with it. It would just be a hobby.

It's like a tense feeling. I get it when i'm near the end of a book or crochet project, too.
