Only bits and pieces, but the lack of information makes it even more ominous. It admitted, joining everyone else outside. Then it added in a tone that was obviously supposed to be reassuring, The only reason it does not just destroy and recreate everything over and over again is because of something holding it back.

Suddenly Ki started drooling. “Oh gods, creation and destruction all at once? Sounds like my kinda guy…” They blinked. “E-eh? I mean, oh no, that’s terrible!"

They nodded enthusiastically. "Ah, do tell me more! Is it... terrifying? Abominable?"

It...does? Why? It looked at Kiki in confusion. No one knows what it looks like, either. The name just comes from the golden trail left in whatever remains. It is almost mythical where I come from. It suddenly looked a little excited yet apprehensive. Maybe it will come here...

[I wonder how Lychee's mother might take suddenly finding an Eldritch Abomination/Apocalypse Maiden in her house? ]

(It's not their house, it's a hotel in Lumiose? They're on vacation. Lychee's mom is actually a big sci-fi geek, so I think she would find that cool. )

Then suddenly, Dan felt a chill down his spine again. This time, it does not have anything to do with Team Eon, and whatever he just thought about made him feel shocked and lost his appetite for Tepig's-in-a-blankets.

Rose then asked Dan, “Are you okay Dan? You look terrible. Did something just happen?”

“I don't know, honestly”, Dan responded, “It feels like....like...something big is about to happen, but I hope it doesn't involve that dreaded Team Eon.”

Rose then said, “Yeah, I remember those guys. But, Dan, I think you may have been exhausted from playing too much Mario Kart. Let's go to the balcony and get some fresh air, okay?”

“Alright,” Dan responded. Then Rose and Dan headed toward the balcony where most others are hanging around in.

Then Dan saw his Shedinja who became unusually very quiet, the Dan asked it, “Are you feeling alright, Shedinja? You don't seem very energetic right now.”

Shedinja, who had just heard about Space Kitty telling it about the Golden Ruin, responded with “Shedinja...”, as if to say, Oh, yeah. I-I'll be fine.

Then Dan, Shedinja, and Rose were outside in the balcony where many others are.

Ki shook their head and grinned. “Ahh, my friend, I don't think you'd understand..."

Ki grabbed Space Kitty’s paws, their eyes sparkling. “What do you think it looks like? Is it a man? A woman? A shapeless blob?" They swooned. “Do you think it could come here and just.. destroy us all?"

[Okay, I have a decision to make: 1) do I have the Golden Ruin and the second character show up now, 2) do I leave it until Monday Toronto time, or 3) do I make a cliffhanger and leave everyone hanging anyway? ]

(Ehhh, have it come in. Lilli is about to call in everyone for drinks, and perhaps they can have some as well.

Their peaceful moment on the balcony was interrupted by a voice from inside. "All right then, come in and place your orders!" Lilli called. "The Pineapple Shack is now officially open!"

Lychee turned to Gristle with confusion. "Huh? What's the Pineapple Shack?" "I don't know," Gristle shrugged, "Let's go check it out." He and Umbria then shuffled inside to see what was going on.

[Okay, here goes. You'll all be left stranded in about a half an hour, though, and it'll take awhile for the characters to mimic humanoid forms, since, well, they're not actually humanoid to begin with. ]

The walls suddenly vibrated, as if shifting into another dimension or opening a hole in the universe, but did not actually move, resulting in a very mind-bending experience. What seemed to be a darkly glowing, vaguely defined shape slipped through the nearest vibrating yet non-vibrating wall, leaving everyone stuck on the balcony as it fell into a shimmering pile on the floor. A slightly more substantial shape slid through the wall after it, and seemed to be trying to hold onto the first shape somehow. The only sound to be heard was an eerie almost whistling noise, like an echoing bamboo flute.
The first shape shook itself like a wet cat, and turned to the second shape in a manner that can only be described as loving, perhaps even utter devotion.

When the walls started shifting and shapes appeared, Lychee suddenly went as pale as a ghost. 'AAAAAH, IT'S GONNA KILL US!" They stumbled back several steps and jumped onto the table. They grabbed onto Rose's arm for dear life. "I've seen this in a movie before! It's... it's... it's the slime monster from Zorg!"

When the second one shook itself like a cat, and then turned to the other with loving devotion, Lychee screeched. "Oh god, it's a lovey-dovey slime monster from Zorg!"

Meanwhile, Umbria and Gristle had noticed on the other side of the door and were trying to rescue them by pulling them inside. Gristle reached out his arm through the balcony door. "Hey, grab onto my arm!" he called. "We can pull you across. You can step over the slime monster."

Guinan gave Ki an odd look as she listened to the excitement about how the creature might "destroy us all." She would have been glad enough to follow Lilli back into the kitchen to help with the drinks, but she stood, frozen, on the balcony as the walls shook. As the shapes materialized though, she sensed nothing ominous and relaxed somewhat.

The two shapes froze at Lilli's screaming, and after an awkward moment, slipped out of the way, leaving enough room for everyone to pass by them. The shapes then abruptly became more and more wraith-like, with white, wing-like tendrils, as if the creatures were trying to find a better, less threatening form.

Lychee was still terrified as the creatures morphed into a different shapes, but they seemed to relax a little. Their voice was wavering as they pointed a finger at the shapes. "They... they.... they don't seem like very scary slime monsters."

Gristle's arm relaxed somewhat after he led Lychee across. "Yeah, I don't think they're threatening slime monsters..." What even are they? Gristle wondered. He had never seen anything like it before.

When they saw that the shapes had morphed into trees, Lychee laughed. "Haha, okay, now they just look like minimalist sculptures."

Lychee walked over and poked one of the trees. "Okay first off, you're pretty ugly. And second off, your structure is pretty wonky. Unless this is a non-objective design."

The whistling flute sound began again, slightly higher pitched than before, but then mixed with a similar sound that was lower in pitch. The creatures' shapes became softer, as if trying to copy humanoid physicality.

But then the room itself started warping, subtly at first but eventually more and more pronounced, as if the creatures' presence was causing it.

[Goodnight, everyone. I'll be back either late tomorrow or at lunchtime the day after, Monday Toronto time.]

Lychee recoiled immediately when the shapes began shifting again. "Oh god, they're morphing again. Yup, yup, yup, I'm outta here." They stepped backwards rapidly and "noped" their way into the building.

Meanwhile, Ki had pressed their face directly up against the glass, their face squished in like a child looking into an aquarium. "Oh my gosh, look at the aliens." they grinned.
