The first being wrapped its wings around itself, almost like a cloak, and turned to the second being as if saying "Look at me! I feel so peculiar!"

Ki squinted. "I don't know. They're probably beings made out of energy, or amorphous creatures that have no true forms, or something weird like that that sounds like it came from a fantasy novel."

Their eyebrows creased together as they looked over at Mike. "...Actually, they might be like, weird blob-like creatures that can morph into other things. Remember those slimes we saw earlier? Maybe that's their default appearance. Kind of like a more magical Ditto."

They looked at the one which had transformed into Ki earlier. "...And they can mimic people."

Ki grinned and gave a thumbs up. "I, for one, do not mind at all. I think you look fine."

When the creature wrapped her arms around Lilli from behind, Lilli blinked. They seemed surprised. They smiled at the creature at first, but they also winced. "P-please let go of me. I don't like being touched so suddenly."

They looked directly at Laura, and then they looked around at everybody. "I asked you guys ten minutes ago to come into the kitchen. It was supposed to be a surprise." They frowned. Their tone was hurt, but almost accusatory. "D-did you not hear me, or were you just ignoring me?"

"A-Alright. thank you..." Calem smiled weakly.

"Huh??? Shoot, shoot shoot, I was just distracted, and no I didn't hear you, and no I wasn't ignoring you!" Laura paniked, charging into the kitchen and grabbing Lilli by the wrist. "again, sorry about that!" She said frantically.

"I doubt that." says Mike. "Maybe I personally cannoy figure it out but this is far from being the first time something that seemed like magic was reduced to fields, particles, and equations."


Mars notices Lilli there and says "Sorry, we were bust kinda' busy with the weird alien thing barging in. It appears harmless enough though, so what were you saying?"

Mike says under his breath "That makes two annoying things from different planets barging in within an hour of each other..."

Mars: "What was that?"
Mike: "Nothing."

As they passed by, Lychee was still cowering in a corner of the living room, muttering something about the alien invasion. "They're going to kill us, they're going to kill us..."

Lilli grabbed them by the arm as they were passing by. "GwA-AAAAAaah!" They were suddenly jerked to their feet, and were being dragged along with Lilli. "Come into the kitchen, we have a surprise for you!" Lilli grinned. Lychee's eyes really bugged out of their head. "Huh?!"

"SURPRISE!" Lilli yelled, twirling around and doing jazz hands. They stood in the midst of the kitchen.

Lychee came into the kitchen wondering what was going on and stared with confusion at the assortment on the counter. They looked at Lilli and then blinked. "So this is it.... huh?"

"This is your surprise!" Lilli said. "I used to work at a juice bar, did I ever tell you that?"

Lychee seemed confused. "Wait, so do you like... make alcohol...?"

Lilli wagged a finger. "Noo, silly, you can't serve alcohol where I'm from. So it's all non-alcoholic. And plus, I've never... had... alcohol anyway." Lilli's expression became more uncertain. "Well anyway!"

Lilli grinned as they shoved a handwritten menu into Lychee's hands. "It's your birthday, so you get to order whatever you want!"

Lychee blinked in surprise. "Wait, what? ...Are you serious?"

“Um,” Dan started to say, looking at Lilli while trying to ignore the shape-shifting life-forms in their birthday suits, “Didn't me and Rose heard you, and we were about to head to the 'snack shack' you made about a couple of forum pages ago? Sorry, I don't mean to be rude, but...”

Then Dan, his Shedinja, and Rose walked back inside to the kitchen where the 'snack shack' is, and started to ask some refreshments.

The beings then changed their form slightly, now with weird patterns on their 'skin', as if trying to imitate clothing.
They then tried to communicate more verbally, using sounds that seemed much more like words than before. Its ears twitched excitedly. That sounded like Mythavean...and Ruchian...and Icarnatian...and now Jynyn...They seem to be tell us their names in multiple sound-based languages. In Jynyn, apparently their names are... It listened carefully as both beings emitted two short sounds. Koo-ray...Ah, it is Kurea and...Aleta?

(BTW, there's a menu on page 4 of the OOC thread.)

Lychee looked down at the menu. "Hmmm..." They had never seen any of this stuff before. They just decided to order the first thing on the menu. "Um, I'll have a Lava Smoothie, then."

"Okeydoke!" Lilli grabbed the piña colada mix off the counter.

Lilli poured the piña colada mix into the blender, and let it whirrrr around for a bit. Then they shooped it out of the blender and into a cup, and poured the raspberry purée on top. They handed the cup off to Lychee. "Here ya go!" It looked like a big lump of ice cream floating in a sea of red.

The cup had a spoon sticking out of it. Lychee took the spoon as they looked at it peculiarly. "Huh, cool... Thank you." They moved off to the side to try it.

"Okay, next!" Lilli said.

Rose and Dan got the front row seats by the 'snack shack', where Lilli was working on the drinks.

“Um, I would like to have the egg cream, please?”, Rose asked for the order to Lilli.

“And can I have the Black Cow drink, if you would please?”, Dan asked the order to Lilli then.

(BTW, it's not the snack shack, it's the Pineapple Shack. )

Mars looks over the hand written menu. "Contains rum, ayy? I think I'll go for the Piña Colava."

Mike says "All those smoothies look good... Screw it, I'm going for a Comosa Catastrophe."

Guinan joined Lilli in the kitchen to help serve drinks. "It's not every day that beings from another world start shifting reality all of a sudden. We were all watching what was happening. Not trying to ignore you on purpose," Guinan remarked.

(Well, darn, I like the 'snack shack' better. )

Ki came into the kitchen to help them as well. Lilli grinned at Guinan as they showed her how to make a black cow. "I actually learned this from our soda jerk, Justin. He's the only soda jerk I've met who was, well... befitting of the jerk title." They gave a small chuckle. "He was like, nineteen, and he thought just because he's older than us, that that gives him the excuse to just boss us all around. The only useful thing I ever learned from him was that egg creams don't have eggs or cream in them."

Lilli handed the glass off to Rose. "Okay, next!"

They nodded as they took Mars' order, then they started on his Piña Colava.

"I..." Lilli had a hurt and conflicted look as they really wanted to say something, but they weren't sure if they could. "...I don't know. You guys seem nice, but I don't know if I can trust you all."

"And..." Lilli's voice wavered slightly as it rose to a high crack, "...Sometimes I don't know who I can trust. I might seem like a brave person, but I'm honestly really... really afraid." It sounded like they were about to cry.
