cassettes because each of my 8-tracks in my collection, is a pain to use, they get sticky and gnarled after more than an hour of use. also they are hissy.

acoustic. with gut strings, as in a classical model. the acoustics with the steel strings are murder on the fingers. plus they sound too harsh for my taste.

FM, if only because most of the stations I listen to are on it.

Becoming pretty irrelevant in the UK, as many stations are available via digital TV, and even more on the internet.
