When I was a boy, my father bought a used NES along with Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt. We were shocked at how difficult SMB was. He had managed to get to the FINAL Bowser when he decided to pause it and finish it in the morning. I decided that it would be a good idea to play the game while he was asleep.

Let's just say I wasn't very good at SMB (I was the third in the house to beat it).

I never even owned a Nintendo system...

When I was a boy, my father decided that, as we lived in a three bedroom house, I should get a room for myself and my three sisters should share a room. This went alright for a while, until my oldest sister decided that she should be the one with the room for herself. Naturally, my father rejected the idea.

...I have no idea how she managed to convince me that her way was a good idea.

So many possibilities.

Ah the good 'ol days of two-D gaming. I loved that game where you were a kid doing various things at the circus. One of the hardest levels, I think, was crossing a tightrope on a beach ball, I think. Then there was SNES, Mario World, Power of Mana, Super Soccer, Street Fighter II(awesome when played with cheat where you could fight (a) against yourself[when in vs. com mode) or (b)you and your friend could be the same character in vs. mode, I think my fave combe of same vs. there was Ryu(white gi) vs. Ryu(Navy gi). Or was it the Ken double that had the Navy gi when you played with the code?) I remember though I got addicted to Aladdin and had all the level codes recorded in, coincidentally enough, the back of an aladdin colouring book, and I would always input the code to start at the first fight with Jafar.

Oh and p.s. I WIN!! !
