As do I, and lots of other aspies like these genres too. I like horror more though, it's my fave genre. I also like thrillers.

I, like most aspies, prefer non-fiction.

I think that's somewhat of a stereotype. A quick look at the subforum for TV makes it clear that quite a few aspies like fiction. Other than turtles, I prefer fiction

^So by that logic, you would like fictional turtles even more!

Be careful, they can die if their shield(or whatever it's called) gets cracked.

Yes, I know. But if taken to a vet who knows how to treat turtles, they can sometimes be saved. Sea turtles are often taken in at Sea Turtle Hospital with shells damaged by boat propellers.

Yes, it's horrible. Even worse is the plastic trash in the oceans. Shortly put, it makes the turtles very sick when they digest it, and can kill them. An Australian survey showed that all the turtles they checked out had ingested plastic. And far too many sea turtles (and other bycatch) are caught in gillnets and longlines. Beaches are being so called developed and with the buildings and people there are less space for sea turtles, and they can be scared off (make a false crawl as it's called) so they don't get lay eggs, and the artificial lights can lead them in the wrong direction, away from the sea, where stress and dehydration will kill them. Habitat loss is a huge threat for a number of turtles.

Have you ever heard of the Great Pacific Garbage Patch? That's a loooooot of trash...

Estimates of size range from 700,000 square kilometres (270,000 sq mi) (about the size of Texas) to more than 15,000,000 square kilometres (5,800,000 sq mi) (0.41% to 8.1% of the size of the Pacific Ocean), or, in some media reports, up to "twice the size of the continental United States".
