Do you know what existentialism means?
(Funny story here, my ASL teacher had us write sentences that were were to sign. We were each given a certain chapter to get vocab from. Well, I didn't get a chapter, I got fingerspelling. She said to make it challenging. So I put this word in to finger-spell because I wanted to follow the instructions. Turns out, she just wanted to rip on our bad grammar and mistakes. However, I didn't make any, so instead of letting me be the good student that I am, she had to bring up that "who would know what that means?", then ask the class if they knew [I was the only one who rose my hand] and said that this person [because it was supposed to be anonymous ] needs to not put such confusing vocabulary in their sentences. It made my day because we were all seniors in high school.

About your funny story- What I found funny is that the teacher seemed to think that learning new vocabulary is not something that should happen in school!
