(OOC: Can we all hear Lily's voices from home? How do we hear them? Is it like, they boom in from nowhere, the way I had Q do it? Or is it that they somehow managed to contact Lily's phone? Or are they all in her head? What are the dates for?)

Calem looked sad for her, maybe he shouldn't have said that. "Ah, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you mad." He said, frantically.

(They are memories of the past going through Lilli's head. When Guinan asked about returning home, they had a panic attack.)

Laura stared at the ground. Even though he was calm and cool headed, Calem wasn't always the best with words, though he meant well.

★☆FLASHBACK☆★

'Wh...Who are you?' Eleven-year-old Laura's mouth started to form the words, but they don't come out. Her mother, wathing her carefully, watched her daughter's brown eyes flutter open. "Oh, Laura, your awake! I was so scared we had lost you!" She cried, hugging her.

'Who am I...?' she thought. She would be asking all kinds of questions, but she had apparently forgotten how to talk.

After a lot of things happening over six months, she learned how to talk, and everything else again, and she discovered she had a talent for pokemon batles. Shauna and Calem had shown up on her front doorstep, and those were her earliest memories.

Seeing Lilli like that reminded her of how scared she was back then. She wanted to comfort her, but she didn't know how.

Guinan watched, concerned, as Lily's eyes flew open in fear. Was she afraid of going home? Of staying here? Of losing herself in the wormhole? She wanted to tell Lily that everything would be fine, but what if it wasn't OK? Instead, she asked, in a gentle tone, "What are you afraid of? How can we help?"

Lilli was still shaking and trying to regain their breath.

"Uh..." They struggled to form the words. "I.. don't wanna go home."

"You dont? But why? That was your top priority yesterday." Laura asked,concerned.

Lilli had a conflicted look. They looked like they were going to say something, but then they paused.

"...I'm not ready to talk about that."

Popplio hopped up and nudged its nose onto Lilli's elbow. Lilli laughed.

"Heh." They leaned back as Popplio tried to lick at their face.
It was jumping on them and they reached out to stroke it on the head.
"Hehe. Um, maybe.. in a couple of days I'll be ready."

Popplio bonked their face with its
nose and they fell over.

"Wah!" They yelped, grinning in mock surprise.

Mike paced back and forth. How do I get a radio signal to Kanto... Surely they have communication systems there, this place seems to have about the same technology as my Earth did in the early 21st century and by then there were communication systems everywhere. Ooh, perhaps there are communication satellites in orbit. "Sam, do you think you could hack a satellite?" asks Mike.

Sam: "From a world with this technology level? Of course, I have a photon processor that could brute force something like that in an hour."
Mike: "Great, see if you can find a geostationary communications satellite on the same side of the planet as Kanto."

Like notices that Lilli is acting a bit strange and listens to them. "Wait, so you don't want to go home?" asks Mike. "How sure are you about that? Should I still try to capture your wormhole?"

"...Is this the only opportunity?"

Lilli had calmed down now, but they still seemed a bit edgy.

Calem groaned in annoyance at the baby owl who had a strange fascination with his hair. He pulled out the little owl, put him on a tree branch, dug through his bag and pulled out his red hat with the black sunglasses affixed to it on, to keep the little demon off of his head.

"Popplio likes doing that. We dont know that much about these three though. Aren't they cute?" Laura commented.

Laura was too busy with the pokemon and helping professor sycamore.

"Giovanni, she seems to have made some new friends." Courtney said. "I saw her in an alley and she was just talking to herself, or that little Sylveon of hers. Ahahah♪."

"Just shut up, Courtney. Just because were both on Team Eon right now, once we give Laura what for, and we cary out everyone else's goals, we'll still be at just as much of a feud as we were back in Hoenn." Shelly retorted. "But first things first, Cynth, are you gonna volunteer to battle that little mischief maker?" Laura didn't really do anything to any of them, except for Cynthia. And that didn't even count, she just plain hated her.

Guinan's concern turned to laughter at Popplio's antics. As Lily asked Mike her question, she thought about the two wormholes, Mike's and Lily's, continuing to circle the earth until they closed or until Mike contained them with his device. She wondered how Mike's space station was faring against the carriers Mike mentioned, and she'd thought that the station had turned off its power before. She was glad she was wrong. Noticing the pokemon in the garden, she thought about how all the different creatures didn't seem to be fighting with each other.... yet. Anyone watching her might've seen a faraway look for a moment.

"Well... Yes." says Mike, "The longer we wait the more the small uncertainties in the wormhole's trajectory will add up and if we can't predict it's location within about 10 centimeters of accuracy then getting it back would be nearly impossible without bringing in some larger wormhole containment hardware from Nexus. It's already to the point where I will need a gravitational anomaly map of this planet in order to predict it's location to that accuracy and within a few days even that won't be enough. We don't have to open it immediately after we capture it though, and it should be noted that if Nexus doesn't win the battle ahead of it then we won't be able to open it anyway."

"Really? That piece of junk? It almost looks like something from the early 2030's." says Mason in one of the hangar bays of Nexus station. The gravity is low there because it's near the center of the station and around them are a few other ships around getting prepared for combat. The man standing next to Mason replies "Yep, this ship can bring Mike's portal back to him. It's perfectly capable of an atmospheric flight half way around the world and it's practically useless in combat so we don't need it here. It's also obviously capable of space flight and it has 6 seats, which could come in handy." "Yeah, assuming this bucket doesn't fall apart in the process." says Mason, "But thanks anyway, it's better then nothing and I realize that it's all we can get right now with all the nice ships getting ready for combat and all. I'll get a mobile wormhole containment capsule ready to transport the wormhole and an andriod ready to pilot the ship. Now we just have to solve the problem of how to find Mike. Maybe Mike will come up with something, assuming he's still doing OK."

"So the longer you wait to find the wormhole, the harder it'll be to find," Guinan said with a thoughtful frown. "Is it also possible that the station will cut power to the wormholes sooner, maybe to use their resources for their fight?" she asked Mike.

(OOC: Your description of Sam was pretty cool, Mikeman. I didn't expect Sam to be quite so tiny, not even a centimeter tall?)

"Yep." replies Mike. "Wormholes don't take a lot of power to contain though, my little device here can do it. The only reason they would turn off containment is if they wanted to prevent the Heiwa federation from coming here in the event that they capture the station.."

Crap, did I say millimeters? I meant centimeters. I am always getting the two mixed up, and upon reading my description I just realized that I failed incredibly hard at using the metric system because I was still an order of magnitude off. Let me try that again. Sam is roughly 0.7 meters in diameter and 0.15 meters tall.

Multiple scenarios played in Laura's head, if that group did make it to this world. Sure, she diddnt know them, but the did sound scary.

"Hey, well, I gotta go to Camphrier Town, Trevs wanted to meet me there." Shauna said, waved, and left. As she made her way over there, she saw a lady with pink hair and a red hoodie. 'Strange... Who in their right mind would wear THAT in the middle of Summer?' she thought. She seemed to be in a hurry, going in the same direction she was going.
